This was our first time dining at Nostrana. We had tickets to a concert at Revolution Hall that evening and had decided to have a light dinner beforehand, so we made a reservation. We were politely greeted and shown to our table. We found the restaurant to be attractive and upscale, yet it felt comfortable and welcoming. Our server, Ben, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our visit. Our drink and food orders all arrived within a reasonable time. We really enjoyed the radicchio salad -- it's a standout. We're fans of wood-fired pizza, and we were very pleased with the fresh flavors of the mozzarella cheese and the tomato sauce, as well as the delicious pizza crust. All in all, our visit was delightful. We look forward to returning to try other items on the menu.

We were outside so read this review in that light. The ambient noise was minimal and conversation was easy. The food quality was excellent and the flavors were superb. The service was a little slow and slightly discombobulated. We did get our wine but quite a period of time after our food arrived. Overall despite this one issue we enjoyed our meal and our time at The Kitchen. Many thanks.

We had happy hour martinis (delicious) and to nibble on with our drinks we shared the smoked halibut salad with house made potato chips and two French deviled eggs, which were absolutely superb. We then had mussels and a side of pomme frites (the best in Denver). We had wine pairings as well. Such delicious food. All of it! We sat outside and received the best of service start to finish. I love Bistro Vendome.

The food was very good . There ware a few unexpected glitches. Our cocktails came out after the first course was served although the restaurant did not look that busy. The wait staff who explained the nuances of the dishes did so with a heavy accent that coupled with the noise level mad it hard to understand. My food was good and the service was outstanding but I was disappointed. I stared with a beet salad which was good. I had the salmon as my entree which was good but the salsa they added seemed to mask the flavor of the salmon. I had Brussel Sprouts as a side dish and they were burned. Luckily, my server only ordered a half order of the Brussel Sprouts so I was able eat most of them. My dessert was a strawberry short cake was good but a little small for the price.

Went to Porters for our first Anniversary. We had an absolutely amazing time. Reagan did an excellent job being attentive to our needs, while being pretty busy for the night. The Sommelier Robert is knowledgeable and descriptive about the offerings for the night. The pairings were outstanding. I had the composed pork chop dish that had a wonderful smokiness due to the wood fired grill. My girlfriend had the Miso Chilean Sea bass which was so good I had to steal a bite. Fresh corn bread and Crab cakes started our night along side a Manhattan for me, and a dirty martini for her. The only feedback I have to give is the drinks too a second but it was completely understandable as the bar top was full and the bartender (working by himself) was very busy. Patience truly is a virtue, the ambiance and welcoming environment completely eclipsed expectations. Cannot say enough about the great evening we had.

01/25/2025: It was my first time there. You have to enter through Embassy Suites hotel. I made a reservation but it wasn't needed, there was only one couple when I arrived. The jazz music was perfect. I was looking for "fine dining," but this wasn't a bad choice. The dining area is large, but the bar seats 10 people at best. There was a bathroom inside the restaurant and it was clean. But the lock on the accessible bathroom needs repair. I had to lean on the door and jiggle the lock to engage it. Maitlon was my server. He was patient and worked with the bartender (a lady) to find a drink I would like. She ended up creating something and it was tasty. Maitlon helped me choose between different menu items. I had the flank steak w/mashed potatoes and asparagus. My steak was medium and tender. Maitlon delivered my meal with a steak knife. Which is rare because most restaurants don't serve your food with a proper steak knife. I had lemon cheesecake with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. There was a solid lemon flavor to the cheesecake. The berry compote had a good texture and was not thin. The whipped cream was fluffy and the pistachios were ground to a good texture. Overall, it was a good experience. The meal was just under $70 for one person. The staff (Maitlon and the bartender) were friendly and patient with all of the guests. One suggestion would be to add a bread basket while you wait for your entree. I'll slip in to try a burger next time.

Overall, it was a good experience. The meal was just under $70 for one person. The staff (Maitlon and the bartender) were friendly and patient with all of the guests. One suggestion would be to add a bread basket while you wait for your entree. I'll slip in to try a burger next time.

Very popular breakfast place across the WinterGarden (2 story glassed-in atrium) from the Hyatt. It’s essentially one big room, nicer to be in than look at. Lots of kids. The pleasant hosts were really accommodating and highly patient about seating us away from the loud ones, which was great. Crystal, our server, was charming. The food was good, too.

When we arrived, we were a little worried because there was only one other table with patrons. We contemplated leaving but then ordered a bottle of wine and some appetizers to at least give it a shot, especially since our attendant, Ana, was so sweet. We were delighted we didn’t leave because the appetizers were fantastic, and we ordered equally good dinner plates. Again, Ana was fantastic, and as a local, she gave great recommendations for desserts and drinks after dinner.
