Everything about this experience was amazing. The restaurant and view are incredible. Our server, Haley, was so sweet, attentive, and helpful. Our food and cocktails were delicious. I had a bite of my friend's sea bass and it was some of the best fish I've ever had. And the blue dome dessert is so pretty and SO indulgent- rich and cocoa-y and delicious. My boyfriend and I enjoyed an incredible anniversary dinner together and appreciated the special touches! Definitely the most incredible dining experience of my life as it incorporated an incredible atmosphere that was both exquisite and quaint. Everything you’re looking for if you love a culinary experience that’s literally farm to table. Serves are passionate about their dishes, it makes you even more excited to enjoy the creations! The cabanas were kept plenty warm with heaters and a wood stove for outdoor January dining! This restaurant is new to me, and it is next-door to a Whole Foods grocery store in the Galleria area of Houston, in other words, a very busy high-end retail area. We ate outdoors, because the weather was so very nice, but that also meant we had a lot of street noise. I had a vegetarian squash casserole, and my niece had a tuna poke bowl. Both were just excellent. Our server was very nice and very responsive as was the manager. Parking is a little tricky to find if you haven’t been there before. They do have a ramp, and there is some free parking but we ended up using the valet service which is $10. The food was quite reasonably priced, especially given the area. We were quite pleased with our experience at True Foods.

I’ve always loved this restaurant the selection and the creativity is outstanding! However, I would be wary of the duck only because the way they serve it medium rare, which is normally fine for me makes it very tough. I think medium would’ve been a better choice. And unfortunately, the table they sat at while it was lovely and I was very happy with it. It was right underneath an air-conditioning unit. Our food got cold very very quickly. I had the strip sirloin, which was excellent outstanding the broccoli Robb, which I love normally was very tough the sauce they served with it was outstanding so you could only eat the broccoli part of the vegetable not the stem. It was so chewy you couldn’t eat it. The salad was beautiful, but the peas truly tasted like they weren’t cooked at all and I get the whole al dente thing, but this was just a little over the top . The Somalia was excellent recommended a bottle of wine. That was wonderful. He was great. The servers were wonderful. The Iberico pork was outstanding.

Fabulous! A Ten! 👏 A friend recommended Tiramisu when I needed a place to take my clients. I’m so grateful I followed his advice. I was immediately impressed with the clean white tablecloths with white paper on top, cloth napkins and well set silverware on both the indoor tables and outside! So appreciated by many of us who are tired of sticky wooden top tables that never feel clean. Tablecloths add that warmth we all want when going out to lunch or dinner. The wait staff were very welcoming and professional and I could tell they had worked there for many years and considered their job a profession to be done right. Not a temporary position. This was old school Italian pride in doing things the way they should be done. The atmosphere was bright and fresh with an Italian villa motif. And the food!… the bread for the table was fresh baked with garlic and there was plenty of it. I had the arugula salad, which I will definitely order again! Loved ever bite! That was followed by the spinach and cheese ravioli entrée, also fabulous! My dining companions had the octopus and the truffle pasta, which they clearly enjoyed because there wasn’t drop left on anyone’s plate. For dessert, we had the tiramisu (of course) which was as good as I thought it would be and several coffees, but I couldn’t tell you which ones. All in all, we left the restaurant full and happy and everyone agreed it was the perfect choice and that we would be back! There wasn’t anything they could’ve done differently that would’ve made us any more satisfied. I don’t usually write restaurant reviews but I was so impressed with this gem that I told the group I was going to write one, so I did. I promise you won’t be disappointed if you give this place a try. I could tell they had a lot of “regulars”, loyal repeat customers and I will definitely be one if them now too. Well done!
