Wanted try something new with my family and the experience was great. The staff was pleasant. Our waiter David I believe was his name was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was great and I have only one suggestion. The fried sweet potatoes are good I would just add a dipping sauce for them and that will really set them off. The food was amazing, and the service was spectacular. We went for resturant week, but ended up just ordering from the regular menu. The seaweed salad, along with each roll and the dessert. The chef JJ came out and talked with us and gave us a little surprise dish. Overall it was a great experience, ill definitely be back

We visited for a late lunch during restaurant week. Genteel well paced service. The salad was perfectly seasoned. We tried pillowy gnocchi, lightly spiced veal, and rich chicken Marsala. All were excellent. And the desserts were great too. Try the tiramisu! I’m adding La Viola Bistro to my Center City restaurant rotation.

This is what restaurant week is all about. We had not eaten at this restaurant for about twenty years but decided to give it a try for lunch. Everything was very good but the lettuce leaves with chicken were fantastic. I would eat that as an entre if I could. Wonderful prix fixe menu for Restaurant Week. Food was delicious, great cocktail menu and limited but well-curated wine list. Service was exceptional. The restaurant managed to get overbooked for Saturday night but handled it well - they called us and apologized and offered us a reserved table in the bar, which worked just fine. We will be back.

It just happened to be restaurant week and my husband's birthday. Ibooked us for Thirteen in the Marriott. It was our first time there. My hubsand ordered the salmon and he loved it. I ordered the pork chop which came with loaded mashed potatoes. The potatoes were very good. The pork chop needed some seasoning but it was cooked just I wanted. I have been eating at Vintage since it opened, and love their French bistro cuisine. The service has always been excellent, but the head chef has changed over time. On this visit (August 2023), I dismayed to learn that the restaurant has done away with the season specials, which used to be the highlight of every meal - I would love to see them bring it back. The menu right now has made several French standards unpleasantly spicy. If I wanted spicy food, I wouldn’t have gone to a French restaurant!

Have had lunch here three times in past 6 weeks and I live 90 minutes away-was in Philadelphia for different reasons. Fabulous. Service is impeccable -i.e. friendly with helpful suggestions for the menu. Food is divine. Have the gelato-or the cheesecake (which comes with a scoop of gelato) or the classic tiramisu. I love this place every time I come I enjoy it. Last night was for my granny’s 79th birthday and she loved it so much. They made sure all of her accommodations was meant and even a surprise dessert. I will forever love this place

We did the 9 course tasting for $65 and a 1L carafe of wine for $25 - really great value for such a highly rated restaurant. Most of the tapas were excellent. The dessert was a dry roll - That was the only really disappointing part that was quite out of line with the rest of the meal. Beautiful classy interior and on-point wait staff.

We ordered the Croque Madame and Lemon Curd Pancakes. The Croque Madame was quite good, but the pancakes were a let down (they were very mediocre and there was the smallest dollop of lemon curd).
