Casa del Barco is always a solid option if you are in Downtown Richmond. It's a higher-end Mexican restaurant. We've eaten there many times. The menu is not your typical Mexican restaurant menu. No combo dinners. The Fajitas and quesadillas are both excellent.

We had a great experience at dinner! Our waiter, Ormond was funny, friendly, and very attentive throughout our meal. My salmon salad was soooo good! We had a wonderful time as we don't get out much. The manager also came around to our table making sure we were enjoying ourselves. He also was very friendly! Will definitely be back another time!

The waitress was very nice but I realized there was no bartender or food server so we’re obviously short staffed! After water was served she never came by again ito even take a drink order. There was a table of about 10 or 12 gentlemen, and I think was taking all of her attention to get the food out to them so we decided to leave to go to their sister restaurant Leone’s a few blocks away, which was excellent!

We visited Charlottesville for our anniversary and were so glad we did. We really enjoyed our dinner at Public and my husband said the oysters were fresh and very good. They have a great selection of whiskey and bourbon that we enjoyed as well. The host was kind and accommodating!

We even have our own flock of laying hens and use as many of our own eggs as possible! Saturday and Sunday brunch is a must with both classic brunch dishes as well as creative re-interpretations, and, of course, the perfect bloody mary. Our bar focuses on creative craft and classic cocktails, as well as wine, serving the best examples of many varieties with a large selection of wines offered by the glass. This was one of the top 3 meals of my life. Every course was amazing in it’s own special way. The staff were polite and courteous and very attentive. I cannot recommend The Farmhouse at Veritas highly enough.

This was one of the top 3 meals of my life. Every course was amazing in it’s own special way. The staff were polite and courteous and very attentive. I cannot recommend The Farmhouse at Veritas highly enough.

Our server, Jack, was outstanding!!! He made the whole dining experience memorable. Hard Shell is our family's favorite restaurant and they lived up to that expectation Friday evening. The majority of our guests enjoyed their Dungeness crab which was cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the oysters and crab cake. Next time, we will reserve a table on the outdoor patio which looks to be a great combination of al fresco dining with protection from the elements.

Delicious food. Our server was extremely friendly, patient and attentive! The menu has quite the vast selection of seafood. Raw Chesapeake oysters and the octopus were spot on. Only lamentation is the noise level, it's a very wide open space so voices carry. I was speaking pretty loudly for a good portion of my stay. I would still eat here again regardless!

Le Yaca began in a tiny, country village(Courchevel)in the French Alps in 1964.Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided that it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans they told the hopeful restaurateurs that they were crazy to think that people would drive 8 kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for 3 months and then decided: “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “ il n’y a qu’a le faire” which basically means “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag. But the name caught on with customers, who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms ” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States & opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought le Yaca in 2001. Daniel worked and trained in such prestigious places as “Le Pre Catelan” and “Lenotre” in Paris; “L’Amandier” and “Roger Verge; and to top it all off “Alain D

Farewell to one of the Beach's finest. Wife and I participated in their final night before their 17 July closing. Bittersweet but up to their extremely high standards. Exceptional in all respects. Our server Janelle outdid herself and we expect to see her soon in another top-notch Beach establishment. Hats off to the Chef for his special selections. We have chosen both the Williamsburg and Beach Le Yacas for many of our special occasions and have never been disappointed. Thank goodness that the Williamsburg site remains. Best of luck to the owners on their move to FL.
