A great find- especially if you’re going to the Virginia Rep Theatre! Right across the street! We got several small plates to share and they were good and plentiful! Service was friendly and prompt! Our server Ben was great & kept us on track with our time for theatre. Would definitely recommend and go back!

Loved this restaurant! Service was top notch and the food was delicious. I wish we would have been more hungry, but as it was we split a Lone Star burger and an appetizer of the garlic and cheddar cheese curds. Both were fantastically prepared and just the right amount of seasoning on everything! We will definitely be stopping here again our next time in Williamsburg!

Loved this restaurant! Service was top notch and the food was delicious. We went for Sunday brunch. The picture on the sign outside showed delicious looking crepe-like pancakes with blueberries and strawberries. But the actual blueberry pancakes, while delicious and loaded with blueberries, had no strawberries, and were not crepe-like. I asked the server if you had real maple syrup or just corn syrup and it was the latter - and I don't think she knew what maple syrup is. But you should offer that for a quality pancake experience. After learning their were no strawberries as pictured, I ordered an omelet, and it was delicious.

Delicious food. Our server was extremely friendly, patient and attentive! The menu has quite the vast selection of seafood. Raw Chesapeake oysters and the octopus were spot on. Only lamentation is the noise level, it's a very wide open space so voices carry. I was speaking pretty loudly for a good portion of my stay. I would still eat here again regardless!

Le Yaca began in a tiny, country village(Courchevel)in the French Alps in 1964.Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided that it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans they told the hopeful restaurateurs that they were crazy to think that people would drive 8 kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for 3 months and then decided: “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “ il n’y a qu’a le faire” which basically means “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag. But the name caught on with customers, who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms ” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States & opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought le Yaca in 2001. Daniel worked and trained in such prestigious places as “Le Pre Catelan” and “Lenotre” in Paris; “L’Amandier” and “Roger Verge; and to top it all off “Alain D

Farewell to one of the Beach's finest. Wife and I participated in their final night before their 17 July closing. Bittersweet but up to their extremely high standards. Exceptional in all respects. Our server Janelle outdid herself and we expect to see her soon in another top-notch Beach establishment. Hats off to the Chef for his special selections. We have chosen both the Williamsburg and Beach Le Yacas for many of our special occasions and have never been disappointed. Thank goodness that the Williamsburg site remains. Best of luck to the owners on their move to FL.
