LG's Prime Steakhouse - Palm Springs
We loved everything about LG’s! We were seated immediately with a reservation and our server Gabriel was fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. We will definitely be back again hopefully when the weather is nicer and no rain so we can enjoy the patio.
Very loud and feels like a Denny’s inside. Food was decent but felt overpriced given the atmosphere and service. Wouldn’t go back to this location.
Nice as always. Not as good as past visits, but still very good.
As always, the steak was delicious and prepared perfectly. We ordered brussel sprouts that were supposed to be cooked with bacon, but they had little flavor and were so so at best. The wedge salad was small and the blue cheese dressing was different than what traditional blue cheese is.
The server was very good, food was prompt, drinks made correctly, atmosphere is dated. No valet parking.
The entire evening was a success. The team at LS’s are top shelf. We will be back.
Really good steak got the bone in ribeye 30oz cooked perfectly with good flavor and really juicy, the Mac n cheese is the best I’ve had and I’ve been to a lot of places, really good service everything at this restaurant is fantastic you can’t go wrong here, if your thinking it’s a little pricey well it’s well worth it
From cocktails to appetizer (french onion soup) to prime rib dinner with excellent wine and dessert, it was a perfect Valentines dinner with my wife. And this was our 62nd Valentines dinner together, first was in 1957.
Best choice for a great steak in all of Palm Springs. Top notch service. Great wine list.
Our service was excellent. Connie was the perfect combination of attentive and personable, while allowing us our privacy. The food and wine were superb. That’s why every trip to Palm Springs HAS to include a trip to LG’s. Absolutely love it.
Steaks were perfect! Caesar salad was lacking, drinks were done well. Overall a lovely evening.
Food was soooo good! Nice surroundings and great staff. Very relaxed and although pricey, worth the cost for wonderful meal.
We were visiting Palm Springs and decided to head out for a nice dinner...perfect choice! Steaks were cooked right! Loaded baked potato was huge and asparagus was done perfectly! If we are ever back in the area we will be headed back! Well done LG's Prime!
Exceptionally good meat quality, prepared perfectly to our taste, very good attention by the waiter
Every time we visit palm springs we have to come to this wonderful restaurant, the food is amazing every time and the staff are warm and welcoming
Outstanding food and service, hope to be back soon.
I love LG’s. Been going there for years. The steaks were excellent. So were the side. I like going on half price wine Wednesday. One disappointment was the escargot. Pretty average or even less compared to other local restaurants.
Old time service " par excellance" quality of the beef unmatched, and wine or cocktails are great values. Been a customer for close to 25 years and no others can match it. LB
Thanks to my position I get to travel extensively and my wife joins me on occasion. I have spent a few extra dollars on steak across this Country, all have been great. Your $74.00 bone in Filet was by far the best yet. Edgar our waiter was right on cure. The wine selection was one of the best we have seen. We will be back. We posted our experience on our Facebook page.

Very nice meal and our waiter was fantastic. Would highly recommend your restaurant.
We had not been there for a few years so we decided to try it. The Steaks were just ok. The sides were terrible, and the table side Caesar salad was bland and tasteless. There are better steakhouses in town
Service was outstanding.....Matt was outstanding.
Food is always good from our perspective at LG's. I usually have the filet, which is excellent. This time I went with the prime rib - it was also excellent. My wife had the lobster tail and she said it too was good. Pair it with a loaded baked potato and aspargus and you have a great meal.
We tried LG’s prime Steakhouse for our anniversary and the experience was five stars.
Enjoyed our dinner celebrating my husbands’s birthday. Everything was delicious. Matt was very attentive and friendly throughout.
We treated our friends to a retirement dinner at LG’s and we allloved it. We live up by Sacramento and come to your restaurant in Palm Springs annually. Dining here is one of our favorite treats to ourselves. Ray and Trudy West.
Service seemed a bit overwhelmed and wasn’t very prompt. In addition, steaks were cooked correctly but had little in the way of seasoning. For the price, food was pretty good.
We always have a great time the salads are tasty the steaks were great service is always great. Ambience is very relaxing.
Wonderful dining experience.
12 of us loved every item we were served.
Of particular note were the caesar salad prepared tableside, the ribeye steak and the mashed potatoes.
Service was impeccable.
We have dined here previously and LG's just keeps getting better and better.
Should be a Palm Springs Landmark!! Excellent service, food, ambiance...Nice People!!
The food was excellent and the service was very, very poor. A large group came in (likely unexpectedly) and our waiter abandoned us in favour of the larger group and the larger tip. Efforts were made to rectify the situation by the hostess who by that point was fighting an uphill battle. The waiter tried to explain his way out of the situation rather than taking accountability and acknowledging that he screwed up. As noted above, the food was excellent but the poor service almost (but not quite) ruined the evening. We are solid 20% tippers but left a tip of only 8% which is unheard of for me, and asked the hostess that the entire amount of the tip could be directed to the kitchen staff as they were the stars of the night, and that none be directed to the waiter.
Great food and we sat outside on patio .. was good. Service was good as well. Wine list a little small, but ok. Price wise felt ok.
Had a stress filled time driving at night in an unfamiliar area without navigation. After we arrived, my wife and I each ordered a cocktail and appetizer. When they were served, we had two of the most beautiful martinis and excellent escargot plates which set the stage for the rest of our dinner. Very enjoyable.
I took my husband here for dinner for a belated birthday dinner, food was great, ambiance great, service was outstanding! The only thing we didn't like was the waitstaff and bus persons huddled together in conversations just a small distance from our table. I was a restaurant manager and this was one thing we did not allow as it is definitely a distraction for an otherwise extremely enjoyable evening.
Always a great dining experience at LGs
It was my fist time at LG Prime, and I was expecting your average, everyday, steakhouse, but it was so much more than that.
The cocktail sauce served with the shrimp was truly amazing, as was the escargot, and the Caesar salad made at the table was one of the best I’ve ever had. The steak was perfect and served on a scalding hot plate that kept it hot once it was delivered.
The service was unparalleled. Matt was our server, and he was professional, efficient and friendly, so If you are planning a trip and make a reservation, request Matt as your server. You won’t be disappointed.
My husband needs salt restricted diet. I mentioned that in the comment when I made the reservation. When we began to make our dinner choices the waiter had already been apprised of this fact and told us the chef also knew this and was prepared to work with the menu. We are very appreciative. Also the waiter overhead us saying it was my husbands birthday and brought a little cake for him. We did not mention this to anyone..so the waiter gave him nice surprise.
Went on Sunday (January 6th) for my wife's birthday dinner. Very pleasantly surprised, the shrimp cocktail was out of this world and the 14 ounce Fillet Mignon I had was right up there.
This was our 2nd visit to LG's, the first being Easter 2018. We enjoyed the food and service so much that we returned with another couple on Friday night. Steaks, salads, service, ambiance and noise level were perfect, unlike 2 other very popular restaurants were visited during the same week. The only reason LG's received 4 stars was because two people in our party ordered prime rib only to have the waiter return to the table apologizing that they were out of prime rib that night - a high end steakhouse without prime rib?
Otherwise, definitely a 5 star rating.
Overall, a big disappointment. Slow service and poor quality food. No flavor and poor presentation. Never again.
Have been celebrating our wedding anniversary here for the last few years.
We drive from Los Angeles area. It is worth the trip and more.
Will definitely continue celebrating here.
