We had a wonderful experience at LG’s . Tom was an excellent sever, gave good recommendations and was very attentive, as were his 2 assistants. Forgot how much we love eating there!

Everything was just amazing. The smoked Gouda I’ll Groton was insane. My state was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I never eat all of my food and I ate it off. Definitely will go back.

Had a wonderful pre-Mother’s Day dinner. Filet was cooked perfect. Nice that we could split a wedge salad. Mushrooms and creamed spinach were to die for. Our waiter, Esteban and server I believe his name was Hugo were very attentive, friendly and professional. We will be back!

We were very disappointed with LG. We wanted to celebrate my birthday with Prime Rib and waiter told us they were sold out. Our waiter very unapologetic as well. We reluctantly ordered a filet mignon and my husband a NY steak which was small, with gristle and lots of fat. Mine was surprisingly small. Every thing is a La carte which we had to order sides. Our waiter comp us with a small dessert but acted very condescending when he brought it to us. We will never go there again.

Sent back the prime rib because it was tough and cold and then server dropped a shrimp down my guests shirt. We were celebrating an 80th bday and it was a very unpleasant experience. The lamb was a++

Disappointed as the “ Old “ LG’s has disappeared. No table side Caesar Salad which was a game changer and a nice experience. Took away items on the menu that differentiated LG’s from all other restaurants. To many opportunities out there today and LG’s has definitely lost there edge. Been a loyal customer for 25 years and this was definitely an experience that will push me to different dining experiences. Sad a legend has been mismanaged. Cam

We have been to LG’s many times. It is one of our favorites. But tonight it surpassed all expectations. Alex, our waiter/bartender went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. He was doing it all but made it look effortless. I had just returned home from a trip and my husband and I were on a “date” night that Alex made extra special.

I’ve been and had some terrific meals there over the years. Not sure but everything seemed a little bland. Salad was processed and the dressing was pre made. Bacon pieces out of a bag from the supermarket. Steak NY strip was ok. Lacked seasoning. All was not as I can remember. Wine list wasn’t as robust as years past. Pre meal cocktails were completely off. 5/10 when in the past 9/10 rating .

Our filets were exceptional and done to everyone’s liking! However,service was rushed. We were not finished with our appetizers when our main dish came! When some were still eating, plates were being removed. What was supposed to be an enjoyable evening turned into a rushed experience. Not acceptable for a restaurant of this caliber!

We sat at the bar where we waited for our guests to arrive. We always loved the bar. Great bartenders. Our guests had to cancel unexpectedly so we remained at the bar. Great service with Rick and Elpedio. We enjoyed our oysters and our entrees. It happened to be my husband's birthday and they brought him a birthday dessert.

The food at LG's was unfortunately very poor. Nothing other than a prime filet (after adding seasoning) tasted good. The halibut special was inedible (grossly over cooked and tasteless), the garlic mashed potatoes were flavorless and very dry, the garlic toast was soaked in a greasy butter like substance (but not a flavorful as butter) and lacked any salt or garlic taste, the asparagus was uncooked, and the brussel sprouts lacked the balsamic glaze promised (basically steamed and flavorless). Overall, a disappointing waste of money. Will not go back, as it was far better in the past.
