The filet was cooked to perfection! Joe is a favorite! Always personable and funny! The indoor tables are covid style so the atmosphere is more subdued but it felt so good to be out eating and having a date night again with my guy!
Steaks were fabulous. Salads, potatoes and starter amazing. Service were the perfect mix of presence and sense of humor. Apple 🍎 pie was a little dry, but crust was great!
We chose to dine inside because it was 105 degrees. We sat far from others and diagonally across in a large booth, wearing masks until we dined. All the servers wore masks. I ordered extra for home dining as well. The cab was very nice, especially at 25% off. I think I prefer hot crab in butter rather than my order of cold crab in a cocktail sauce. My mistake, not theirs. The huge porterhouse and gigantic filet mignon were done to perfection, Medium rare plus, and the veggies tasty. The take-out order of Chilean sea bass was moist, tender, done perfectly with an oh-so-yummy sauce. Even the bread was full of flavor. The service, lighting, and ambiance, are exactly right. LG's is our very favorite restaurant. Can you tell?

LG’s is always great. With the Covid 19 restrictions they are doing the best they can with a broader easier menu. The servers are always friendly and the food is always satisfying and delicious.
I have been to the LG’s in Palm Springs numerous times and it has been phenomenal and amazing every time. However, this was my first time going to the LG’s in La Quinta and it was not so great. Actually, the experience was horrible. Asparagus came out really cold. We older two steaks cooked at medium and they came out almost well done. I called before hand to say we are celebrating a 30th birthday and that wasn’t recognized with a dessert so we were charged for the dessert. Our experience was just overall very upsetting especially knowing that it is suppose to be fine dining. I will probably never return knowing that there are other fine dining steak restaurants in the area.

We went to dinner at LGs Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. It had been highly recommended by friends. The food and service were wonderful. Our only complaint was the noisy children running around and through the flowers. Finally someone from the restaurant spoke with the parents. We were grateful as that would have definitely put a damper on our evening. We were not rushed but taken care of. And at the end they gave us a lovely dessert on the house.

Excellent melt-like-butter Saturday night prime rib. Fresh grilled asparagus perfectly cooked. We didn’t care for the overly-garlicky Gouda potatoes (and we were so looking forward to them!) so they were quickly replaced with a fluffy baked potato. Freddy R. provided friendly, attentive service. LOVE him!! Staff were all in COVID compliance and bathroom was spotless. Went at 5:30 to avoid a crowd. Felt safe but near the end a table of six rather enthusiastic buddies were a bit too close for comfort. Look around before you sit down and steer clear of large tables if you are concerned about distance. Based on our experience the staff will accommodate your request immediately. Looking forward to another visit as soon as possible.
The service was great and the food was ok. We got the crab cocktail which would be great without all the cocktail sauce, it was drenched in it. The wedge salad was just so basic not what you would expect and the steak was a little tough we ordered ribeye. In general it is outdated

LG's is back. We actually ate inside. We had a table of 10 and everything was great. Can't go wrong on the filet or the wedge salad. Attentive and friendly staff.
Overall the dinner was good. Value was good. Salad dressing on the wedge salad was extremely runny. Substandard. I would expect more from a high end, 4 dollar sign, restaurant.

Just an awesome night. Our first dinner out after the second Covid reopening. He had the New York, I had the Rib Eye. We shared the Gouda potatoes and grilled asparagus. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our wait staff was just wonderful, kind and attentive. We’ll of course be back. Can’t recommend this steakhouse enough!

I am hesitant to write this as I want desperately to have local restaurants survive/thrive,and I know the challenges the current COVID environment presents to restaurants. That being said, going to a Steakhouse (not Outback or the like) there are certain expectations, particularly when the average beef entree is at $50+. Up front let me say that the service staff could not have been more attentive, anxious to please and understanding. My wife and I were celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary and wanted a special dinner to mark the occasion. My wife’s filet Mignon, ordered “medium” arrived with a cool red center, my ribeye ordered very specifically “no more than medium rare” arrived medium at best. Further, the asparagus side was both under-cooked and the stalks were unpeeled leaving a super-crunchy, stringy (translate:inedible) vegetable. The service staff jumped to our concerns with what we had been served, and cleared our table, and brought a second round of ordered items. The asparagus was no better, my ribeye was a true medium rare, but my wife’s filet was still under-cooked. We were in no mood to send back yet another entree and again halt the pace of a celebratory occasion. Are kitchens under-staffed or under-trained in these challenging business times? This has certainly not been my previous experience at LG, a place I’ve associated, by experience, with the highest quality cuisine.
Definitely didn’t expect the service we received. From a 1 to 5 I would rate a 10, the staff members were great, there was one particular person I wish I would’ve asked his name but I’m pretty sure he was either the manager or owner, he was Excellent at his job. We we enjoyed our anniversary dinner which, let me tell you the food was amazing. I recommend the calamari, I-am still dreaming of it 🤤 thank you so much for this amazing experience.
