The Lewnes family has been in the food business since 1921. Lewnes' Steakhouse opened in 1994, specializing in USDA prime beef and exquisite seafood dishes. With its high back booths, low-lit ambiance and a waitstaff that is dedicated to first class service, Lewnes' is the premier spot for special occasions or private dining.                                                                                               We had an incredible dinner! The steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The 6oz bacon was absolutely delicious. Oysters Rockefeller were the best we’ve had. Can’t wait to return.

Sides initially came out incorrect, resulting in staring at a piece of meat and nothing around it until the correct sides were delivered. Asparagus was completely without flavor. Potato dish was fine. Salad was good. Wine was good. Server was pleasant.

                                                                                              Matt was the best server I've had in the years I've been coming here. After a chilly welcome by the hostess, everything was perfect. Which was especially good as we had two first timers with us. Filet mignons, lyonnaise potatoes, grilled asparagus, mushrooms, onion rings and pork belly. All excellent! Wine service on point throughout. They even remembered my note about my husband's birthday.

                                                                                              Lewnes is our go to place for dinner when visiting Annapolis. The food and service is outstanding. This trip was no exception, however, our reservation was for 7:30 and they did not seat us until after 8 pm. The bar area was completely full so it was a tight squeeze with people waiting to be seated.
