Level was established as a locals first atmosphere with welcoming attitudes to all. Our cocktails are all handcrafted with fresh juices, mixes, and garnishes. One of the many things that makes us unique is our ability and commitment to source as many fresh ingredients locally from the State of Maryland and surrounding markets.     Service was very slow even though there were several open tables. Food was okay but not impressive. Noise at the table next to us was awful -- eight people basically shouting at each other the whole time -- so that made everything especially unpleasant.

    Exceptional drinks and delightful food, as always. Jen, the MOD that night, remembered us from previous visit and was charming & engaging. Love Level — wish it was around the corner because we’d be there everyday.

    This used to be a good dining spot. The service was very slow and poor. They appear to be experiencing a staff shortage. But as a customer, it was frustrating.

    The food was as always outstanding, but the restaurant has decided to cram so many tables into a small space that it is challenging to get to and from your seat. Additionally, this has definitely increased the noise level. However, the reason for a three star rating was based on the service. We ordered a few small plates, as you do for tapas style, as we moved through the evening and the wait time for each was a bit long. I think the 25 minutes for the chocolate chip cookies and whipped cream for dessert was the cherry on top, so to speak, adding to my impatience for the meal to end.

    This was our first time to Level and enjoyed the food and cocktails. The restaurant was very loud even though they had baffles to mitigate the noise. The food was good, but a bit on the salty side and we were at a two top, but due to many small plates spent a lot of time and energy managing space which took away from the experience. We will return, but maybe on a night that’s less busy so we have the luxury of time, space and sound to be different. The service was very good which goes a long way in our book.

    We met friends from out of town here. They need to eat gluten free. There were numerous options, the waitress and bartenders were extremely helpful, and everything we had was wonderful. We went during happy hour, so the prices were very low, but, even at full price, I think it was very reasonable for the high quality.

    Ordered five different small plates. Had to send one back because the vegetables were well past their due date. The other four were very mediocre. The succotash had way too much butter in it so it made a healthy meal unhealthy. The calamari was dried out. The tuna tartare was decent. Our waiter was a really nice guy. But there's no way I would ever return here.

    Very nice dining experience! The food was great. The service was great. I’d definitely go back. The front door was open making the entrance very inviting. However, once seated, I discovered the flies had just as much access to my plate as I did.

    Great taps style restaurant. Sat outside with dining under the stars. They only thing that is NOT the restaurants fault but the Maryland “Rule” of not accepting vertical licenses for people to have a cocktail is the stupidest rule. People come from other states that their licenses don’t expire may have a vertical license but Maryland won’t allow them to order a drink even though they are legal. This is not a law but Maryland will pull a restaurants liquor license if they sell to a minor. Let’s let restaurants do the math and realize an out of state license may not require people to get a new license at 21.

    Love the concept. Everything I had was good. Listen to your server. They r great. Try the Honey 🐻 cocktail, comes in glass shaped like a honey jar & squirt in your own honey. Lively atmosphere but not so you can’t talk. Upstairs bar is popular. Seated promptly. Not a lot of tables so book early. Only small downside was bit of a wait between first meeting server and ordering. There were some 8 person tables & even a birthday, so I get it.

    Cons: Despite our reservation we were not seated at our table for over 20 minutes because they were overbooked. The host did his best and did let us sit at the bar once spots opened up and then transferred us to our outdoor table. The Duck Confit was super salty and we had to return it (it was taken off the bill). The fries were borderline salty so we kept them. Sweet corn dip was meh and the chips seemed a little stale. Pros: charcuterie combo board, the tuna tartare and the lamb chop were really good. Waitress was very nice too.

    We had a reservation for an indoor table that was made a week ago. When we got there they only had outdoor because of a “large party” that was there. I think Level falls to realize that the reservation keeps the indoor table available. That’s why you have a reservation. It was quite disappointing as this was the first place we went to when we moved to Maryland and wanted this to be the last as we move again. We walked out as the host had zero interest in helping us. We normally love the food and love the service but we didn’t have that opportunity this evening

    One word: AMAZING! Had a reservation for outside but it was too hot and the host was accommodating . First timer. Cute interior. I loved seeing the bartender and chefs in action. Our server, AnnaLee, was so friendly and attentive. Food came out at just the right times. The food...Gnocchi Gratin special was a MUST ORDER. Other notables: Basil Hummus (who knew? I had to eat faster because I thought my hubby was going to devour this one), and Tuna Tartar. Best anniversary dinner in 20 years! Thank you to the staff for making it memorable.

    This place had great food and I had one of the best desserts here (gluten free brownie)! I am gluten free and our server was very knowledgeable and was willing to explain some of the the food that was gluten free and also it’s preparation in the kitchen. If you have any allergies dairy or gluten this is the perfect place to stop for some great food in small size!
