Le Vallauris, ubicado en el corazón de Palm Springs desde 1973, al pie de las montañas de San Jacinto, ha sido el restaurante mejor calificado en Palm Springs Valley desde su apertura. El establecimiento es dirigido por su propietario, el conocido empresario de restaurantes Paul Bruggemans, que también era propietario del famoso restaurante Le St Germain en Hollywood. El edificio histórico fue construido en 1927 y pertenecía a los propietarios del famoso Desert Inn, que era el mejor hotel del valle. En esta casa se celebraron muchas fiestas importantes para huéspedes como Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong y muchos más.                                                       Definitely new management. More tables added to the courtyard. Feels and sounds like a cafeteria. They texted me 30 minutes before my reservation time to alert me that my table was ready (?) yet when we arrived at our reservation time, we had to wait another 20 minutes for our table. The 2 seatings concept seems to no longer work. The place was packed when we were seated and the staff was overwhelmed. As professionals, they recovered quickly but it seems like the restaurant is now more interested in packing in the crowds than giving a great experience. No longer offering the tasting menu which was our favorite and we talked up to our guests. Thank you to Edgar and David for saving our visit and making it wonderful.

                                                      I was disappointed with the branzino entree. It did not have enough flavor; I think a sauce rather than a fresh salsa would have lent more taste to the dish. Also, it was not hot enough. The lamb was deemed excellent by the men in our group. The cold beet soup was superb. The zucchini soup was quite bland.

                                                      Always a good dining experience here. We come every 4 to 5 weeks in our round of restaurants and rarely are disappointed. One of the best restaurants in Palm Springs.

                                                      We celebrated our 30th anniversary with friends. The food was very delicious. Waiter suggested seafood tower and it did not disappoint!!! Awesome! We have been there before several times in past years and always had fun with waiters. They seemed a little preoccupied and maybe not enough waiters on hand. However, lovely evening. Thanks!

                                                      Our first time back in a year and for those of us who have been coming to Le Vallauris for years it has lost its lustre. It is a shadow of its former self. Gone are the polished old school wait staff replaced by very mediocre servers. The food is overpriced and rather meager portions for $50 main course. Bread used to be great selection now just few pieces of cut up baguette - no amuse bouche or any special touches that made this restaurant an icon. We will not be back after patronizing Le Vallauris for 20+ years.
