   Never was told that Mother’s Day brunch was a 80% surcharge for no additional service. Embarrassing for my guests.

   Best restaurant in Coachella Valley by a mile. Everything was just perfec, excellent food, excellent atmosphere, great service

   It was a Friday night, and lots of people were dining outside. I believe the restaurant was understaffed. Service has been better. Our party of 8 enjoyed the evening but there were some quirks. 1. I called ahead of time to be sure that there was an au poirve sauce to go with our filet mignon. It was my husbands birthday and I wanted it to be special. We ordered Steak au poirve and got only steak. No sauce. We also ordered another glass of red wine and it never came till we had ended the meal. Nick was gracious to not charge us. He by the way was great. When the cake was served we were given spoons? But all in all we enjoyed our evening under the stars.

   Beautiful setting, reasonably quiet (outdoors). Mushroom pasta special was very good but duck appeared to be cooked several hours before, was poorly presented, and grossly overcooked. Appropriately the cost of the duck was refunded.

   What a spectacular gem we so enjoyed on vacation! The wait staff, delicious food and ambiance was so very special! I would highly recommend this special hidden gem. I recommend eating outdoors among the garden of softly lit trees that surround each table.

   Our server Nicholas was excellent. The lobster were good but chocolate soufflé was may favorite last night.

   Disappointed they took some of the charm of the restaurant away. Board specials were only brought upon request and did not have the specials. Options were much more limited than in the past and favorites such as the crab salad, Dover Sole, and others were removed. Almost seemed like any other place in town rather than what it was. Will think again whether this is a place for celebrations or not. Also, they oddly walk you through the dining room before outside rather than through the bar.

    The atmosphere outside was very nice. Our waitress was either really busy or something else was going on but she wasn’t great, however the supporting staff, busboys and other supporting dinner staff were very attentive! The appetizers were very good but the entrees were disappointing. When we left there was no one at the exit of the restaurant to acknowledge our patronage and thank us for coming in. My first time here. I’d give it another try but wouldn’t rush back.
