Exceptional cuisine and service. Patio dining under the trees is magical. Outstanding!
We had heard that the food was great and as my wife is from Paris we had to try it. It was a wonderful evening and met all of our rather elevated expectations. Well done Le Vallauris!
A wonderful meal. Beautiful setting. Great service. Terrific food and wine. 5 stars for sure. Great place to celebrate my birthday.
I was a new customer. From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel welcome. The maitre'd was charming, my server was knowledgeable and accommodating, and by the time Paul Bruggemans himself said hello at my table, I was thoroughly in love with the place. I ordered a la carte but will try the menu degustation next time. My business as a book editor is calling me to Palm Springs often, and I will visit Le Vallauris often as my home away from L.A.
Fabulous every time.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Palm Springs. I’ve been coming here for years and it is a “must to” destination whenever I’m in town. Only issue this time was a wobbly table that resisted balancing despite attempts to correct it.
Le Vallauris has set the standard for excellence since the 80’s and the tradition continues. The sommelier suggested a reasonably priced Zin that was excellent and our server was charming and helpful. The food was delicious! This is still the classiest restaurant in the dessert and does not disappoint.
Definitely one of Palm Springs’ better restaurants. Cozy, great service. Try the white fish. it’s spectacular.
Excellent food and service! Wonderful dining experience. Highly highly recommend! Service is outstanding - the staff makes you feel special and so welcome. Food is excellent.
Fabulous in every way!
I eat here often, a lovely environment. This both our meat entrée's were ordered medium rare and they were presented very rare. The service was not up to par this time. I will be back though.
This restaurant is the best. We have known Paul for many, many years. Not only is the restaurant fabulous, so is the owner. We have been locals for 40 years and it is always nice to go to a first class restaurant and feel as thouugh you are visiting a friend, not just having a meal.
Went to the Sunday brunch with 6 friends and had a great experience. $55 prix fixed menu with Champagne included. Great atmosphere and service was very attentive. We all had a great time.
The food and variety of the menu was terrific. We shall return.
Yes -- It is one of our very favorites in Palm Springs.
Outstanding all around - we're in from LA, but if Le Vallauris was in my neighborhood I would be a regular.
It’s one of our favorite restaurants in Palm Springs. Great food, service and atmosphere. Incredible wine list.
I took a friend who has not been there in years.
She is coming back next week.
Our favorite place for an elegant, delicious lunch.
Decidedly one of the BEST places in Palm Springs. Outstanding wait staff and excellent food.
Dear friends (and foodies) were in town and we celebrated Valentines’ Day at LeVal. Everything was perfect and Paul, Omar and the entire team are as gracious and professional as you could ever imagine. The veal and lamb were both cooked with immense skill and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. An absolute masterpiece!
Love the whole experience, the owner visited each table, wow.
Old school beautiful ambiance.
Fabulous!!! One of the best restaurants and meals of my life. Great Valentines!!!
Horrible V Day
No one mentioned it was the set menu and the food was pre-cooked came out dry and not very fresh
Food and service was good. Corkage fee very high. Our indoor table was in high traffic area. Suggest an outside table. Restrooms were not up to the standards of the restaurant with boxes of hand towels stacked up by the sink—tacky. The service and food were excellent which made up for most of the shortcomings mentioned.
We went for Valentine’s dinner. The restaurant had a beautiful ambiance. Food was delicious and the service was great.
Great prix fixe menu for Valentine's Day. Elegant, great service and food. This was our first time in Palm Springs and we will definitely be back here. I chose this restaurant based on the menu, reviews and its history.
Valentine’s Day. I was extremely disappointed that the menu was reduced to just one pre fixed menu. Usually they have a $65 pre fix and a $93 pre fix menu with an a la carts menu. Today they had only a $97 pre fixed menu which was disappointing...
Even with two months advance reservation, my request to eat in the garden was now achieved.
Terrible customer service. GM Omar is a rude liar. Called to change a reservation time within ample time. Said he'd call me back because he needed to check. No call, no nothing. Called back multiple times to no answer. I sent an email to OpenTable and still no response. Come to find a cancelation fee of $120. Called the next day to deal with management. They lied and pretended they knew nothing. Disputed charge with Amex and sent copies of phone records and emails as proof. Garbage tasteless restaurant.
Valentine’s Day. The ambience of the courtyard was outstanding which matched the food, presentation, and service. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
We were welcomed by the elegant Maitre D' Willie, an old friend for many years in PS on Valentines Day in the beautiful garden setting of the Le Vallauris. The Sommelier Bruce introduced us to an affordable lovely Chardonnay, The Frank Family. The chef sent out an exciting amuse followed by a superb prefix menu. This restaurant has endeared itself to generations of elegant dinners the want the best the desert has to offer. Pricy, of course. Bon Appetite.
Food, service and ambiance were all good. What I didn't appreciate was a $45.00 corkage fee to open a bottle of wine that I brought. I understand that there should be a charge, but felt that it was excessive and insulting to a returning diner. This was my third visit to Vallauris to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. It very well may be my last.
We LOVED Le Vallauris! We have been coming to Palm Springs in February for the last 4 years and every year we have thought Le Vallauris is THE BEST restaurant in town. Costly, yes, but you get so much for your money that it's worth every penny. Most recently we had the Degustation, a parade of superbly beautiful and wonderful-tasting dishes, and a sweet, efficient server maned Michelle who put up with us two cranky old gay guys. The highlight for me came when a very kind and polite, very well-dressed gentleman stopped by our table and identified himself as the restaurant's owner and asked us if we were having a good time. I wanted to bow down before him on my knees. From the smoked salmon amuse bouche, through the luscious quail and the scrumptious crab cake, to the poached lobster and Grand Marnier souffles---what a meal!!! 5 stars from me,, 55 stars, THE BEST. LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!!
A must when in the Palm Springs area...perfect in every way.
Outdoor dining is a beautiful setting with open evening sky, trees with lights and heaters to control temperature. The area was walled in giving the impression of a room with a pulled-back sky roof. Candice was our outstanding server. Just 15 months moved from her home, Paris, France, she brought an authenticity to this French restaurant.
There was a choice of the many, many items listed on a portable whiteboard or one of two Price-Fix menus; a 3 course or 5 course. A highlight was the owner, Paul Bruggemans coming to our table to welcome us and share a bit about his establishment; “I planted these trees 46 years ago.”
Le Vallaruis deserves the rating of Best Restaurant in the Desert.
A classic Palm Springs dining experience. Wonderful cuisine, impeccable service, elegant ambiance.
This is the best restaurant in Palm Springs!! Nothing else comes close.
Fabulous dinner we go there every year for our anniversary!!
