I have been coming to Larkspur since it opened. While I love the food, despite the prices have increased significantly over the past few years, today we had the worst experience. Our 10 year old always orders the grilled cheese and tomato soup from the kids menu and we specifically ordered two kids meals. The waiter insisted we didn’t order a kids meal and we had no idea it was the adult meal. When we asked to speak with a manager they refused to credit us back and said well he ate the sandwich! Meanwhile he didn’t touch the salad and only finished half the soup. We then waited almost another half hour to have the manager go back and forth and he then said well we took $4 off! It was not about the money, but the principal and disrespect to the customer. Chris should learn how to treat customers! Unfortunately that will be our last time and we would never recommend to anyone again.

The location is clutch. Located right at the bottom of the slope. The server and hostess are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and attentive. We had the Larkburger with cheese and truffle fries, and the Lobster Rocket club sandwich. The food is high quality, and delicious, but as they continue to increase the prices to the point of being ridiculous, they serve their burger and sandwich on a smaller and smaller roll each year, so that now it is almost impossible to eat it. We love this place regardless.

I like the location! It was overvalued in terms of price (e.g. $12.95 for hot chocolate, $16 kids meals). Otherwise it was a good experience and the service was excellent.

It was such a great restaurant, Now a shadow of their former self. They are losing their lease and are now mad at the mountain employees who bring them their business. This mountain employee will be looking elsewhere in the future
