   Good upscale restaurant experience. Our server was pleasant and helpful, and the food was excellent, beginning to end. With a tab of about $400 for a party of three, I was not happy to see an added 4% "service charge" that specified 100% was for management, in other words, not a tip for the server. I'm not a fan of these charges: please restaurants, just charge the prices on the menu you need to charge and skip the hidden fees. The manager cheerfully took the charge off the bill at my request.

   I’ll start by saying the service was top tier, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, the food fell very flat. We had the unagi, of which the skin was so chewy it was completely inedible. The cocktails were ok, but at $22 each felt extremely overpriced. Our waitress was wonderful and very kindly removed the unagi from our bill, again speaking to the wonderful service and attentiveness. While it’s possible we received a one-off lackluster dish, I don’t think I’d recommend Lark to any travelers coming through the Seattle area.

   Went here for a date and in terms of ambience, if you can, sit in the upstairs dining area. The food was AMAZING and the service was very good. Money well spent and I highly recommend eating here at least once.

   Staff is welcoming. Waiter Carlo is knowledgeable and conscientious. Hostess is sweet with a long history at Lark. Chefs are outstanding. Food is well-conceived and perfectly prepared.

   It’s been several years since our last visit and I am kicking myself for that. We had a great booth by the front window and started off with some house cocktails that were fantastic. Next was a dozen oysters followed by the 4 course tasting menu including the “special” pasta (a spot prawn spaghetti with just a hint of sauce). While all dishes were executed perfectly, the duck breast was by far our favorite. The tasting wine pairing was matched absolutely perfectly with each course. Kudos to our server Carlo and all of the FOH staff who kept the table spotless, the waters filled, and the service top notch. I’ll not let 6 years go by again and am looking forward to bringing my whole family this summer.

   The food was so close to being exceptional but was bland in some instances. A little more guidance from the staff would’ve gone along way.

   Anna, Steven and the whole crew took amazing care to see we had a table sitting next to each other rather than across. Gave us great info on selections and the food was just amazing.

    An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Lark From the moment we walked in, everything at Lark was absolute perfection. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and upscale, with thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was a masterpiece. You can tell the chefs put heart and soul into each plate—from the stunning presentation to the layers of flavor in every bite. Even the smallest details, like the bread service and seasonal garnishes, felt intentional and elevated the whole experience. The pacing of the meal was spot-on, and the dessert? Unreal. Lark isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience, and they’ve mastered every element of it. Can’t wait to come back!
