Bienvenue dans le restaurant Lark du chef John Sundstrom, l'un des meilleurs restaurants artisanaux du Nord-Ouest Pacifique. L'établissement collabore avec des artisans, agriculteurs et producteurs locaux pour vous proposer le meilleur de chaque saison. Le Bitter/Raw, situé sur la mezzanine au-dessus du Lark, sert des huîtres, des produits crus et de la charcuterie. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se retrouver autour d'un verre et d'une petite assiette avant le souper. L'intégralité du menu du Lark est également servi au Bitter/Raw.

I really wish I'd read the recent reviews more closely before coming here. We found Lark via some "best of Seattle" lists and were really excited to make it our "last night in town" outing. Arriving at the restaurant, it has a really great aesthetic, but the atmosphere was sadly the only real high point of the evening. The overall experience was below average among fine dining spots, and once price/value are considered, not worth it at all. We had a round of cocktails to start, then the tasting menu and wine pairings. This should represent the pinnacle of what the restaurant is executing right now, but we left very disappointed. 1) We were barely into our cocktails when the first food course and its associated wines arrived. Not only does this crowd the table, it asks the guests, "hurry up & kill those $22 cocktails you just got" which is definitely not how a meal should start. 2) The server had to constantly reference notes for things like describing a special dish or a particular wine, which is really off-putting. At this level, the service staff should have everything memorized that might reasonably be described/discussed, especially for the set tasting menu. 3) Really spicy preparation on the halibut dish completely overpowered the fish itself. I finished not even really feeling like I'd had a seafood course. The dish wanted lamb for protein, not mild white fish. 4) Wine knowledge was lacking. Apparently the restaurant doesn't even have a dedicated somm & it really shows. On top of that, the pairings were pretty uninspired and appeared to be trying to get rid of unpopular bottles rather than show off the team's creativity in food/wine pairing. There's more to say, but no one likes interminable online reviews. Overall, I agree completely with others here who have concluded "Not worth the price." At more than $650 for 2 people (incl tax & tip), the value is absolutely not there. Seattle has plenty of great restaurants - save your money & dine elsewhere.

A wonderful, fresh, creative, and tasty menu. Knowledgeable and professional service. One of our favorite places for a special night out.

We were disappointed with our meal. Food was subpar and overpriced. Bread plate was ok. Would’ve been better if they had warmed the bread. Fried oysters were over breaded and salty. Not flavorful. Smoked Maine unagi was good. Husband got the pasta special with prawns which was good as well. I got the halibut and came out with a long piece of hair on top. They reassured me that a new dish would come out in a few mins but it didn’t come out for 15-20 mins and by that time, my husband had already finished his dish. They did not bring out another appetizer or dish while I was waiting and never offered to comp the dish or dessert to make up for the inconvenience.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner here. Our first course of fried osters and our main course of halibut was cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable and appreciated.

Excellent experience all the way around. Lovely space, nice atmosphere; open but affords privacy. Wonderful upstairs area. Food masterfully prepared; my first time here and I think it’s one of my favorites now. Outstanding service. A bit limited on gluten-free options, but willing to customize some dishes. Would recommend.

Overall an amazing experience. Service was impeccable as was the quality of the ingredients. The menu was presented and coursed out perfectly during service. Drinks were beautifully balanced and needed nothing extra. The affogato at the end was the perfect complement to finish off our meal and perfect for sharing!
