Restaurants near Wyndham Koloa Landing At Poipu Beach

This was somewhat of an unexpected gem. We didn’t know much about this place but saw the menu online and it looked good. We came away feeling very pleased. The edamame starter was tasty as was the tomato and mozzarella salad. My wife got the Miyosaki Butterfish and was very happy. I got the Honey Mustard Braised Shortribs and was also very pleased. To end the night my life got the Pineapple Upside Down Cake and I got the Chocolate Lava Cake. Both were amazing. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by how good this restaurant is.

We were sat promptly by a very nice and welcoming young lady, sorry we didn’t catch her name. Sage was our server and he made very good suggestions when asked. The drinks were very good. We tried the Mai tai and an old fashioned. They had pork buns as a happy hour appetizer. It was amazing. We could have just had those for dinner and been very happy. After that we had ramen. I tried the curry ramen and my husband had the Hapa G ramen. Both were very very good. We plan on going back before our vacation is over.

We had a lovely evening at Table at Poipu. The restaurant decor was beautiful and the restaurant staff were very attentive. Our food was great. We had the prosciutto and goat cheese with pecans honey and fruit. It was a great beginning to a fabulous meal. Although the rest of the meal was great. I think the combination of flavors in this appetizer was amazing. We then had a house and Caesar salads, which we both enjoyed. We completed our evening with the blackened ahi and a beef tenderloin. Both of the entrees were perfectly prepared. We topped off the evening meals with nice glasses of wine from their wine selections by the glass. Their selections were well represented and combined well with our meals. We will definitely return next time we are in Kauai and I would highly recommend you add this place when you are looking for a nice evening out.

Easily our favorite restaurant of the trip. Food and service felt like we were eating at a Hawaiian friend’s home. Kids LOVED it too - will definitely come back on our next trip.
