I have dined at Locale several times over the past few years and it was been consistently excellent. The menu changes regularly - leaving some favourites on, and modifying others. Although menu is somewhat small, there seems to be something for everyone. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was served at the expected temperatures and the flavours were well thought out. Overall, great experience and we will return.

Our meals were very tasty, although the chief was very innovative in his food pairings. I had a beautiful steak, but it came with French fries. Odd. A choice would have been nice. We ordered the beat salad, it had a yogurt, blue berrys and beets it was delicious. We have shared the shrimp cocktail, I felt the shrimp were much smaller than previous visit. My husband ordered a specialty Mushroom dish with a squash purée, he enjoyed it. Another guest had the Cornish hen. It was deep fried. Again, an odd way to cook it for high end restaurant, but was tasty and moist. Mashed potatoes with a well in the middle with gravy and Brussels sprouts. All in all it was good, a bit pricey, we had wine with dinner and dessert. With Tip it was over 350.00. I will mention that the large trays being pushed through the dining room to the kitchen were very noisy and distracting. Seems that was the only way to transport food back and forth to the kitchen from somewhere. Wait staff wee very attentive.
