Fantastic diner experience. Went on a Wednesday evening for the prix fixe meal and it did not disappoint. Can’t beat the atmosphere and views, rather!

This restaurant is absolutely outstanding!! The location leads you to question whether you're in the right place, and the outside is very unassuming. As soon as you enter, once your eyes adjust to the subtle lighting, you are absolutely blown away. The decor is quirky, but also incredibly cool. The menu options are varied with quirky titles once more, what's entirely refreshing is the vegan options - they are more than suitable for someone who doesn't follow a vegan diet. For the meat eaters, the "swellington" is absolutely amazing, I would recommend this hands down. Let the waiting staff make the recommendations and follow them. The drinks menu also doesn't disappoint - they have cocktails and wine to suit every taste. Lastly, the service is amazing. I could not fault the waiting staff or the greeters at all. They were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, again their recommendations were in point. This place deserves it's reputation and the waiting list for a table is worth having patience for. You won't regret dining at this place.

Great experience with co-workers at the Boathpuse. Amazing views, great table outdoors, the broiled seafood combo was a perfect way to try multiple items. And a very special shout out to Thomas our waiter. I left my credit card at the table and he went the extra mile to find my phone number from my reservation to call me. Thank you Thomas!!

I love Bookbinders happy hour but also happy we can order from the regular menu at the bar. I had the oysters Rockefeller and crab stuffed mushrooms. My partner a dozen raw clams plus the cowboy ribeye. All were delicious. Our service at the bar was fantastic.

Stopped here while in Richmond, it is very well run, the food was delicious and the ambience is great. Very cool building, great story, and the food to match. It was a little louder than I’d prefer but it was a large and busy restaurant so you’ll have that from time to time. Overall, highly recommended.
