GUSTAZO is one of the very few authentic Cuban restaurants in the Boston area. Located at 240 Moody street, it offers traditional Cuban cuisine in a modern and inventive way.      this is a very comfortable restaurant and it has excellent food. My husband and I went for an early Valentines dinner. We like to avoid the crowds on the 14th. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We made a reservation and were seated promptly . We shared the eggplant appetizer. I had the paparadelle with porcini and truffle mushrooms. My husband had the house special with scallops and shrimp with pasta and vodka sauce. Everything we ordered was outstanding.

    Everything was wonderful. We had not been here for a while and we really enjoyed it. The table was not a tiny little table for 2 that often happens in restaurants. The tables are not on top of each other - which really appreciate. Food was great from the appetizer (tuna tartare) to the entrees. I had halibut which was excellent and my husband had the venison chops which were really tender. The server was excellent and very personable. We will be back!
