Restaurants near University Square

I went to Main and Mill on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 for a birthday dinner and it was a great experience! The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the server was polite and attentive. I had the fried oyster Poboy and Mashed Sweet Potatoes! I even had a piece of Key Lime cheesecake for dessert. I will definitely return to this restaurant and I recommend it to anyone who lives in the area or is visiting the area!

My husband and I dined with you over a year ago celebrating my birthday. I tried the pear and cheese sacchetti pasta and had a wonderful experience. We live locally but rarely go to expensive restaurants except for special occasions. My husband wanted to surprise me and made a reservation for a week night. He ordered Rigitoni and I ordered the sacchetti. Both were underwhelming and mine was like balls of dough that were over sauced lacking flavor. I would not order it again and was sad that we ended up paying $80+ for the experience.

Never fails to impress us, or our food/wine/beer connoisseur guests with us last night. Whether living 5 miles or 50 miles away (like us) , a gem you won't regret. Amberjack was sublime, with the perfectly matched New Zealand Ponga wine. Appetizers of Calamari, roasted romaine blew us away, as well as carrot cake. We are there a few times a year, have never not raved over their other many choices
