    From beginning to end we had a exceptional dining experience. We were seated on the second floor looking down on all the action of Banister's Wharf. Very entertaining. Our server, Peter, was very attentive and helpful. The menu selection is extensive and enticing. The rack of lamb was a stand-out.

    Great experience at Bar and Board! We were visiting Newport for a "girls weekend" and all 3 of us started out with the Hibiscus Martini, and shared several small plates: wedge salad, brussel sprouts, meatballs, ricotta toast and one of the specials (crab cake). Our service was outstanding and everything was delicious and well prepared. We topped off the night with two of the yummy desserts (skillet special and chocolate mousse pie). We will definitely be back! The vibe was great and location right in the heart of the action.

    Excellent restaurant. Food was outstanding and our waitress Jill was both attentive and friendly. She truly understood how to take care of a blind person by letting them know that she was on the right coming in with a drink or food. Overall, a wonderful dining experience and we will be back!
