It's just a cool vibe with really great food. The red sangria was delicious. We shared the brie appetizer, then I had she-crab bisque and fried green tomatoes. All wonderful. It's just a good place to have a good night.

This may just be my new favorite steakhouse in the Tampa Bay area! While visiting a friend in Wesley Chapel and us searching for a new place to eat, we stumbled upon The Citrus Room via Open Table. It was a quick 9 mile drive into the cute, downtown area of Dade City. This historic building was adorned with some great decor inside and out and we loved the quaint and classy vibe from the second we arrived. Every staff member was amazing, from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. Tables were cleared quickly and we never waited around for a drink refill. The meals focused on steak, but there were many other great options, including a large selection of appetizers. Each entree included a salad, baked potato, bread and a dessert...and not just any dessert...you had a tray of several options to choose from. They even brought out trays of toppings for your salad and potato so you could dress them yourself! The chef cooked everything to perfection and the couple of small requests we had, like light seasoning and sauces on the side, were accommodated with ease. The bartender, Jacob, was one of the best I've encountered. He not only came to the table to be sure we liked our cocktails, but asked us what style and flavors we liked and how he could make something to our liking - like making the espresso martini less sweet and more coffee forward - it was perfect! Our server, Amanda, was an ideal server...polite, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu. The French Onion Soup was a highlight - one of the best I've ever had! But everything we ate was perfect. It's hard to find a place that exceeds expectations in every aspect of dining, but the Citrus Room did it and did it well! I can't wait to get back to that side of town and go again.

This was such a fun date night and we will definitely be back with family !! Food was delicious and the entertainment was fabulous! Well done!!!
