Yesterday was my wife and my second time at Don Alfonso and for the second time we said it was the best meal of our lives. Beyond the food, the service is undeniably impeccable and yet so personable. We had the same server as we did 8 months ago and not only did she remember us, she remembered what we ordered previously along with details of our last visit and expertly walked us through the menu differences between then and now. We also had a phenomenal sommelier who's name I can't remember, that's my failing, who went above and beyond as to even give us the name and contact details of the wine import company who had procured the best bottle of rose wine we've ever had, and I'm not a fan of rose in general. Thank you Chef Davide for the amazing food (Il-Tonno is my personal fave along with your backstory on it's creation), Maria for being so kind and just a genuine pleasure to speak with, and our sommelier both for humouring our incessant questions and pointing us where to find that amazing Deltetto wine. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Beautiful and creative sushi and sashimi experience

Superior Food and Service, always a winner for us!!

We came here for my husband's birthday, the staff made my husband feel extremely special here. Multiple staff came up to wish him happy birthday and our server, Maddie, was very attentive to our needs as well. We arrived during happy hour around 5pm and stayed until 7:30ish. We had a chance to try some of the items on the happy hour menu, we loved the duck fat fries and oysters (sunseekers from the west end, they were so creamy and very fresh). We also ordered the Caesar salad but it's like any other Caesar salad. The bread they served was also very delicious. For our main, we tried the 20 days house aged striploin and 30 days house aged rib eye. The restaurant handled the meat very well, we wanted medium rate and that's how it came. The ribeye was more crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The striploin had good flavor. For dessert, we ordered the creme brulee and the restaurant did a little something special on the plate to wish my husband happy birthday. This place is excellent for date nights. It had such a great view of the city landscape with CN tower and there's a garden outside the restaurant. We took a stroll after dinner and took some photos. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience.

The food and services were top notch. The server,Alyssa, was exceptional. The noise level was low but it was not busy yet because we dined early.
