A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our chefs blend the best of our locally caught fresh seafood, fresh produce and delicious tropical fruits for our tropical seafood dishes.

Superb dinner in every way. A beautiful restaurant, attentive but not intrusive service. Superb food (swordfish cooked perfectly), key lime pie. The chef, our server, the bartender - all excellent. Expensive and absolutely worth it.

We are staying at Fiesta Key and drove an hour and fifty minutes to get to the ferry. We parked in the parking garage at the hotel on-site. It's $7 an hour, but they have daily rates if you prefer to go and stay on the island all day. The ferry ride was beautiful! The crystal-clear turquoise water is breathtaking! When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by a very nice hostess who asked if we wanted outdoor or indoor seating. Because of it being so hot, we chose to sit inside. We were seated by a window overlooking the beach. What a pristine sight! Everyone was very courteous and very nice. We went for lunch and we had octopus ceviche and the roasted Brussels sprouts as appetizers. Then we each had a Maine lobster salad, which was very large to say the least, so that was the end of my lunch, but my husband had the blackened grouper sandwich which was amazing! I had their key lime martini and it was delicious! All in all, it was an amazing experience! Highly recommend!

Always love Bagatelle when in Key West. Lobster Mac and Cheese please! You could close your eyes, point at the menu and be happy. Wonderful fool, lovely historic building. We are from Islamorada and anytime we come down for an overnight, it’s brunch at Bagatelle the next morning.

We had an early 5 pm meal because we wanted to eat before our 6:30 excursion. The food was fresh and fantastic! We shared the shrimp flatbread appetizer. Our meals were the yellow tail snapper and lemon garlic mahi. Both meals were tasty and delicious! We enjoyed it all!
