Restaurants near The Capri at Siesta

We visited on my husband’s birthday. I alerted Connors that I prefer gluten free and a GF menu was placed on our table. I appreciated the tucked away booth in the back. We were practically alone. Everything was delicious, outstanding. My husband had ribeye and he LOVED it. I had the tuna/avocado stack appetizer. We each had a house salad and they were top notch. Not just a little lettuce with a cherry tomato. All of the sauces were wonderful. Compliments to the chef. Our server, Jake, was perfect. He didn’t hover but was around when we needed him. Thanks Jake you rock.

With the new ownership, we had the best service and food and welcoming employees and owner.

We had a great experience at Ophelia’s. Greeted early at the front. The food was incredible and the atmosphere on the water is relaxing. Sienna was super attentive, personable and recommended some great appetizers and dinners. The 1 1/2 lobster (shelled) served over vegetable ratatouille was so delicious and different. The escargot appetizer also had a different twist with the most amazing sauce. Both the beet and cesar salad were fresh and make good starter choices. Kudos to the chef! Drinks from the bar were excellent. Overall, always have a great meal and service when we take our guests here.

Excellent food and service. This level of care and dedication combined with the skills of the kitchen is almost unheard of anymore. You feel so special eating at Ruth's Chris - If the only had a jazz pianist in a corner you would think you were mid century restaurant heaven.

We ordered oysters which were good tasting but had to navigate around the pieces of shell and rock salt in them. The clam chowder was excellent. We had 4 in our party and 2 ordered the grouper, 1 ordered the hogfish and the other ordered the mahi mahi. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency develop and were only 1/2 way through our meal. What we had tasted was good. I cannot say enough about the staff and patrons who rushed to our aid and called 911 for us. They are surely to be commended and we thank them for their assistance. We would love to come back and give this restaurant another try someday when we return to Siesta Key.
