Restaurants near Telfair Square

Common is our favorite Savannah restaurant, one we never miss when we make a visit to town. The service was friendly and attentive, thanks to Sean, and the food was excellent, per usual. We had a lovely evening.

Had a great dinner! My husband had She Crab soup and Shrimp & Grits. I had Cesar Salad and Filet Mignon. Everything was delicious and our waiter Josh was very attentive. And get the Chocolate Lava Cake!!

Service was impeccable. Nice selection of wines and cocktails. Shared the mushroom salad to start and it was perfect. The Aligator/crabcake entree was delicious as was the swordfish — the chef should bottle and sell the pepper jam condiment! The shared banana/caramel cheesecake desert was the perfect end to the meal.

Sparkling rose and Caesar salad were excellent. Main course was a pork chop with roasted vegetables. Pork chop was not tender but did come with a good curry sauce. Vegetables were way too salty. I certainly didn’t enjoy them. The other diner had the beef in a bowl with vegetables and rice. She also complained about the heavy use of salt. Service was great!
