Restaurants near Stage Coach Lodge

From the moment you walk into the restaurant you are greeted with a friendly smile and a welcoming feeling. Reservations had been made and we were seated on time. Our waiter, Mark, was pleasant, attentive, engaging and yet not overly attentive. Mark offered us the Landry Club Card and we signed up. Costing you $25, you recover this back upon sign up. This card gives you preferred seating, (by a window) seating even before someone with reservations and a $25 birthday credit. We ordered the chicken, steak with fully loaded baked potato, shrimp, sautéed mushrooms, clam chowder, and mud pie. Everything was cooked to perfection. Saturday night was busy, a bit loud but you are able to have a conversation with your table mates. Bathrooms were clean. Great waiting area if you do not have reservations. Plenty of metered parking and no steps to get in restaurant.

Good was delicious. Sea Bass Tacos, Harvest Salad and fries. Service was gracious. Aessone view of the bay with lots of sea otters out today

We love this place! We visit Pacific Grove every year at least twice. The highlight of our visit is always “The Old Fisherman’s Grotto. Great seafood, great ambience, great staff and very reasonable prices. Brad our server this year was wonderful!

As always, beautifully prepared seasonal foods in a relaxing environment. My only complaint this time is no lactose free salads or pastas

We enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet at Sea Root. Last year we tried the buffet at a different hotel and were so disappointed. This experience was the complete opposite. Service was warm and friendly, the options were quality, and we were treated as valued customers. I would definitely splurge on the Thanksgiving buffet at Sea Root again and hope to enjoy regular dining there as well.
