Leather flower is beautiful with sweeping views. The staff is absolutely wonderful! Our server Christine was a true professional, friendly and knowledgable. The issue is with the food, we both ordered the Ribeye, one medium rare and one medium. They were both rare and neither came with the creamy potatoes as it stated on the menu. We ate at the sister restaurants- Laural Bar the next night and experienced the same issue with the steak friets- ordered medium well this time and got medium rare. Why the chef does not use a meat thermometer is beyond understanding! Also ordered the skilled cookie and it was so hard we could not get it out of the skillet. This is a 5 star resort all the way- until you get to the food.

We were celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Virginia Tech and staying nearby. While planning in advance, I found this location and knew it would be a great way to toast her success and future plans. It exceeded my expectations and was a beautiful setting. Although we sat inside (due to winds present the day we visited), the views were still amazing. I hope to be back in the area to visit this location again.

Ate by the window The Ravioli with collard greens sauce was delicious Grilled Salmon very good The Pinot Noir wine tasted good but I had a very small pour considering it was 16.00 a glass. Very disappointed about that.

It’s been a very long time since any of the 4 of us have eaten here and we were all very impressed with the service & food quality and quantity. Bella was our waitress and she was very attentive and always with a smile. Appetizers and dinner meals were all delicious. Definitely will return.
