The food, service, and ambiance were superb. My concern has been a three year battle: dress code. I understand the owner has tried to present an upscale restaurant, but some patrons bring the caliber of restaurant down. We as a people have lots of money to spend. We want the best. Many times, however, we don’t present ourselves as the best. We have money, but we cannot by class. Ladies being fabulously dressed would have made my son‘s second graduation celebration perfect. Not on you, so thank you, K+K.

Anniversary dinner was wonderful. Only disappointment was the octopus appetizer. My wife loves octopus and unfortunately it was hard and crispy. More like a crouton. Other than that, we really enjoyed it.

The Friday Pork Chop special is beyond compare for flavor and value, and we usually have enough leftover to make their pork white bean chili at home that they provide the recipe for. We love inviting friends neighbors etc. for lunch so they can experience for the first time and all have been impressed. Danny who was our waiter this time was perfect with making sure things were taken care of and filled without being intrusive or interrupting. we have never had subpar service BTW.

My wife and I had a lovely brunch at Porch Pour in Midlothian. Started with a mimosa cocktail and we both chose an eggs benedict item for our main course. Food was beautiful to look at and tasted really well orchestrated. The ham benny also had peaches and avocado to accompany the usual items. Cooked to perfection. The staek included spinach as well. The potatoes were perfectly prepared with a crisp outside and a soft inner. Service was well done, polite, non-intrusive and helpful. Tha atmosphere was also enjoyable set in a parlor room of a relocated 1873 Victorian house. Enjoyable on all counts.
