Wonderful. Truly excellent service — thoughtful, attentive and friendly. Prix fix options were outstanding value. Nice wine pairing options. Fun cocktails. We tried the scallops, lobster deviled egg, oysters, salmon catch of the day, elk, and black garlic pasta. All delicious. We’ll be back!

Had a wonderful experience at Big Water Grille! The view was breathtaking, it is located on the side of the mountain overlooking Lake Tahoe and we were able to watch the sunset through the large pine trees. Our dinner was spectacular! We started with the Roasted beets and the Korean Fried Cauliflower-just enough spice, but not too much. I ordered the Halibut and my husband ordered the fish & chips. We received a complimentary dessert for my husband's birthday, which was nice. Service was excellent, they were all very attentive. I highly recommend the Big Water Grille when visiting Lake Tahoe.

We love Austin’s for a casual dinner and the staff is so nice. Great brews, huge salads and corn muffins!

What a special treat to have such a lovely restaurant in the Tahoe area. We had the six course tasting menu and thought everything was perfect. We especially loved the care the staff took to make our experience wonderful. The cocktails were specially crafted to our tastes and were delicious, and the cuisine was amazing. The interior decor made us feel we were in the heart of Japan, and we loved being able to watch the activity in the kitchen from our table. A perfect evening indeed.

Absolute perfection in service, food quality, value! What a hidden gem. So much better than the onsite lakefront properties at the Hyatt where the only advantage is the view.
