Restaurants near Truckee River Walk

We love sitting on the patio by the river. My friend and I split a bottle of wine and then leisurely ordered four different small plates to share. As it wasn’t too busy in the restaurant, we didn’t feel bad camping at a table for a bit. Everything was delicious and we had such a wonderful time. Terrific service.

Good food. Good service. Nice band playing music outside.

Short ribs were nicely prepared and tasty. We also had the daily pasta special which was also very good. The smoked old fashions were great and chocolate was fudgy and dense. Well done all around.

We had a wonderful dinner after an event at the Pioneer Theater. Delicious roasted beet salad with arugula and goat cheese to start, followed by my marscapone ravioli and my husband's chicken parmasean. Spumoni for desert. The food was excellent and our server was attentive and gracious. Definitely a great meal.
