Restaurants near Sea Club Ocean Resort

The kitchen area is better for conversation but the dining room is prettier. It’s a trade off. They just haven’t figured out the acoustics so it’s very loud. Food beyond amazing. Service excellent.

This is our fourth time here and everything was outstanding. Our server Amanda was very professional and attentive. All of the Nigiri we ordered were much better than last time. The Kanpachi, Hamachi, and Kinmedai were delicious. The fish were cut thin this time. Please continue doing this since the slices were too thick during our previous visits. We also had breakfast here the morning after and the chef added a few Japanese style dishes. We ordered the Saba and Gyudon. They both came with a side of rice, miso soup, a sunny side up egg and salad.  I am so glad that Takato finally decided to do an Asian style breakfast. My compliments to the chef and team.

Upon arrival the restaurant immediately accommodated our elderly in-laws for seating. We booked a mid-afternoon Thanksgiving seating, so the noise level was low. Our server, Richard, had a charming sense of humor,a lovely accent, and he was very attentive to our needs even after the restaurant began to get busy. The food was excellent from appetizers through the dessert. Upon Richard’s advice in the Wagyu section, I had a Snake River American Wagyu ribeye end cap that was as tasty as a steak can get. The cocktails were also attractive, and the wine, a Kosta Browne, was excellent. I like a steakhouse that serves high end wines by the glass as well as half bottles. Steak 954 offers that option. The total meal cost was high but appropriate for a high end steakhouse on the strip in North Lauderdale Beach. I don’t mind paying more for high quality food and great service. The restaurant also had great views of the beach across the street. Overall, we had a great Thanksgiving meal at Steak 954 and would recommend this restaurant.

First time dining at Truluck’s but familiar with food and service from Texas locations. We ordered the thanksgiving day meal (plus a crabcake as appetizer, which is always good). We were presently surprised by the turkey meal, extremely flavorful, well seasoned, and larger portions. This location is definitely more Florida, not the moody color scheme and ambience of other restaurants, but equally nice (get rid of the chintzy fake flowers from previously failed restaurant which occupied the space). It’s a great location, great bar, and happy hour menu, so looking forward to returning at another time to enjoy again.

I had an incredible experience thanks to Adonis and Jamie! Adonis was attentive and friendly who made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Jamie gave an outstanding presentation on the Omakase box. They truly elevated the dining experience. Highly recommend!
