Restaurants near Sarasota Jungle Gardens

Looked for a reasonably priced comfortable experience. Chart House met expectations. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. Limited menu, early dining, our choice was fine. My companion’s meal was perfect. My meal, a variety of shrimp scampi was seasoned well, pasta was cooked to perfection but the shrimp was OVERCOOKED and had the consistency of a rubber gasket. It is not that hard to cook shrimp correctly. In terms of promotion, the menu on line does not match that which the personable server delivered to us. Give it 4 Stars.

Never disappoints. Our waiter, Will, was excellent . Really paid attention to details. We split a delicious Wedge salad. Lovely presentation. An appetizer was made into an entree for me. My husband loved his "Ocean Piccata". He liked the fact that the dish wasn't overloaded with pasta. Had the table at the window which allowed us to watch the passerbyers. All around, a good experience!

What a wonderful experience! My party went on Thanksgiving. We all had different entrees - duck, salmon, beef tenderloin. All were fabulous! Desserts and the espresso martinis were delicious too! Scott, our waiter, was wonderful too. He was attentive and friendly. The ambiance was cheerful and felt festive but we could have a conversation at the table without raising our voices. A great choice. I highly recommend Rosemary and Thyme for any occasion. You won’t be disappointed!

Great spot on Sarasota Bay for delicious seafood and drinks. The grouper sandwich is the best in the area. The outdoor patio is the best setting, where you can watch the boats wander by or come to be stored in the adjacent boathouse. Plan ahead as reservations are scarce and you’ll face long waits without one.
