I recently dined at Nick's on State Street, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The food was absolutely excellent, and every bite was a delight. What truly stood out, though, was the incredible service. From the busboy to the manager, the staff made us feel like VIPs! We were greeted by name and treated with such warmth and care—it truly made our visit special. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. And I can't forget to mention the butter cake—it was simply over the top! It’s no wonder that this has become my running group’s favorite spot to celebrate birthdays. If you're looking for a fantastic meal and top-notch service, Nick's is the place to be!

We visit Campfire every time we visit Carlsbad from Northern California. Like sister Carlsbad restaurant Jeune and Jolie (Michelin starred), the food is incredible and the service is flawless. This time, the menu did not include one of our favorites (the barbecued quail), but all the dishes we had (roasted oysters and shrimp, beet salad, crudo, roasted broccoli and sea bass entree) were all fantastic. Service for our anniversary dinner was best we have had anywhere, especially our server Olivia. Thank you Campfire team for a wonderful celebration dinner!

We celebrated my birthda at King's Fish House in Carlsbad. Everything about the experience was fantastic, food, service and atmosphere. We had the oysters, Lemon Sea Bass, Crab Cakes, everything was great!
