Great pasta, generous portion size - great service and great ambiance

Food was quite good, once we got it. I'm not sure if our server was having an off night, or there were problems in the kitchen. We were seated right away with menus, but server didn't show up for more than 10 minutes. She came back a little later to take our orders, but then we sat and waited. Our openers - a soup and a salad showed up, but entrees took forever. Server implied that our order with "lost" in the kitchen, and comped my son a free dessert to make up for it. Thankfully we weren't in a hurry to get anywhere that evening because from start to finish was well over an hour for two openers and two entrees (and the eventual free cheesecake that my son got).

The service was excellent and the food was very good. I have been there several times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend ll Bucco

We had Father's Day lunch at Baton Rouge on Bayfiekd St in Barrie. The restaurant was very nicely designed inside, with a very prominent bar and bar seating area. After being seated, our server, Paul, took care of our party of 4 exceptionally well. He was personable, witty, funny, and a terrific waiter. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, and 2 grilled salmon, one prime rib sandwich and one shrimp risotto for our entrees. The food was delicious! Portions were large! We were so impressed that we promised to come back as soon as we could. Well done, Baton Rouge Barrie!

Atmosphere was awesome. Server was prompt and pleasant. Food was hot, delicious and very satisfying!
