- DDanaMinneapolis - St. Paul •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWhat a discovery, shared by a local friend! I've walked by Pangaea Grill many times but never tried it until today. The food was fresh and delicious, and just perfect for a ladies' lunch. Lots of great options, including heavenly fish tacos which were tasty and not greasy. The service was exceptional, and I will definitely go back.More infoPangaea on Ocean AvePrice: Moderate• Asian• Carmel•4.4

- JJohnVIPDenver / Colorado •35 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe celebrated my wife's 50th birthday lunch here. Carmel By the Sea is a charming town and our experience at PortaBella matched that. The food, service and atmosphere were wonderful. They had a good selection of wines by the glass, interesting cocktails and beer selection. The menu spanned California, France, Italy and the Mediterranean. My wife had the Carbonara and I the sand dabs (a flat fish from Monterey Bay like flounder). Fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. If we lived anywhere nearby- we'd come here regularly. Thanks for making my wife's birthday very memorable for her.More infoPortaBella RestaurantPrice: Expensive• French• Carmel•4.5
