Beautiful setting. We ordered the carrot & parsnip soup- outstanding as were the crab beignets. My cousins wife had the homemade Limoncello- said it was outstanding. My cousin & I had an Italian red wine from Abruzzo that is Always a favorite! Entrees were absolutely superb: wild caught salmon sitting atop smashed baby Yukons with a little sour cream, fresh baby asparagus, beautifully drizzled with homemade hollandaise around the rim of the plate. The cousins had the duck breast that they said was divine. Artfully decorated with blackberries, a red reduction I assume was bordelaise, risotto balls and a cooked cabbage. I did not taste but they raved about it. We had not been to Harrisonburg or the Joshua Wilton House before. I would encourage anyone wanting a dinner to never forget to make that reservation! You will not be disappointed. Thank you for a memorable dinner.

We were in Harrisonburg for a little reunion of cousins. Excellent breakfast. Two us had the bowl of grits with shrimp, pico de gallo, and egg. It was Outstanding . My cousins wife had the traditional Eggs Benedict she said it was wonderful. We had coffee , hot tea. Too full for dessert this time. Would encourage anyone looking for a great brunch to try Clementines. Dinner menu looks very good as well!

The four of us enjoy fine dining and had a wonderful first-time experience at The Chop House! The food, service, and ambiance were first class!

The food and service at The Ridge Room is only exceeded by the view from here!

The food was so good it made me want to cry. We got the Mediterranean plate to start. Focaccia was so light and fluffy. Amazing vinaigrette on the salad. Everything was fresh and light. The wine was incredibly flavorful. The view from our table of the vineyard at sunset was so picturesque. We couldn’t stop saying “wow” through the entire meal.
