Food was good, not great. Perhaps a little overreaching on some flavor profiles in an effort to be unique? Service and ambiance for a Monday night were excellent. I can’t wait to try it again when the seasonal menu changes. Overall our group gave the experience a solid B+. Could easily be an A in our next visit.

This was our first, and definitely not our last, visit to Ember & Rye! The food was excellent. 3 of the four steaks were perfectly cooked and the 4th was fixed without question. We shared four sides: carrots, Brussel sprouts, mushrooms and the cream corn brûlée. All paired well with our steaks. The corn could have doubled as a dessert. Service was exemplary. Jeremiah(?, he was from New Hampshire) was so pleasant and helpful. The only sort of let down was the cola chocolate cake for dessert. The frosting/filling was very good but over all the cake was meh!

The hostesses provided a friendly greeting and sat us immediately. Our server was attentive and acknowledged that we were celebrating a birthday. The fish was fresh and delicious. I would recommend the macadamia nut Halibut. It was delicious and my first time trying it.
