- CClarkCalifornia Central Coast •4 reviews5.0Dined todayWe came for my wife’s birthday, it was our first visit to the Chart House and we had a lovely table overlooking the bay. We had crab cakes for an appetizer and it was scrumptious! My wife had the Spicy Halibut and I had King Salmon and Shrimp. Both of our meals were excellent!More infoChart House Restaurant - MontereyPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Monterey•4.5

- RRobertBaltimore / Maryland •18 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 25, 2024What a absolutely fantastic place to eat. We choose this place based on longevity, online reviews, and the menu. It looked like a great place to get a sampling of Pacific seafood. The Sardine Factory did not disappoint. Starting with the greeting we felt like honored guests. The Conservatory room is absolutely beautiful, really nice as late afternoon changed to night. Creative craft cocktails. Truly loved their take on the Manhattan called Mr. Sardine. I will say because of the quality of the pacific oysters. The Oysters Rockefeller appetizer was actually better than the one I received in New Orleans where the dish was invited. Spinach, bacon, cheese, and sauce blended so well with the plump oysters. The signature Abalone Bisque was unique and delicious. Enjoyed the subtle brininess. The wine steward helped us select a great wine to complement the meal. Pleased with the Riesling chosen after our discussion of our tastes and entrees. Macadamia nut encrusted Chilean Sea Bass was melt in your mouth delicious. Delicate flavor. Petrale Sole Meuniere worked out fresh sea to table and farm to table veggies. Great blending of favors in the sauce. Sorbet to cleanse the palette. Espresso and chocolate tart for dessert was memorable as well. Just a remarkable all around dining experience for our 45th wedding anniversary.More infoSardine FactoryPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Monterey•4.7
