Inspired by long days on the Gulf, late nights on the ranch and the colorful creations of our abuela, our family's Kitchen & Cantina showcases the rich foods and traditions we grew up with on both sides of the border. Nothing matches the flavor of food grilled over mesquite. Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque. Just fantastic. Hostess was friendly. Our waitress was SUPERB. We ordered the sausage (favorite dish), all the veggies (sweet potato was a miss), fried chicken (great), pork ribs (it was as if the ribs were coated in candy. But in a good way). Wine list is eclectic. Sommelier terrific.

Truly a wonderful space, very cool and industrial, offed the beaten path, which is refreshing, in an industrial area, it is very cool. The cuisine is expertly prepared and photo worthy. The food was totally delicious, and the service impeccable, the open kitchen in very entertaining and we enjoyed our dining experience very much, we will be back!
