Restaurants near Northtown Mall Shopping Center

The cornbread and redfish were superb. The ambiance was fantastic and it was quiet and cozy. The wait staff were great explaining the menu and dishes to us. Fabulous experience. The one downside to give this a 4 star food review was the mango peach bourbon caramel cobbler. Definitely was not what I expected. There was something bitter/sour at the backend of the flavor profile that was very off putting. I would not order it again.

The food never disappoints here…beautiful oysters and lobster roll. We celebrated a birthday with key lime pie, which was delicious. Our server, Josh, was attentive all throughout our intimate celebration lunch. It was the perfect place to celebrate one of my favorite people!

My date and I were eager to experience Al Biernat's North Dallas. She was looking for are to the Halibut and I was looking forward to the salmon. We were pleased to meet our server, Edwin... We had heard he was one of the best. Edwin did not disappoint. James and Marty came by and checked with us, in addition to Edwin and another server. Forgot her name but she was stellar. Our water was never empty and we did not have to wait long for anything. Edwin and the staff helped us find the sauce we were seeking... Whole grain mustard. My date was impressed with the Halibut, as she expected. Edwin suggested the sea bass over the salmon and it was outstanding. The unexpected star of the dinner, was the creamed corn. It is flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be back. Drink suggestions... Black cherry lemon drop and barrel aged old fashioned. A quality 5 star trip all around.

This is now the second time I’ve been and AGAIN DRAKE’S DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This time around Miqi/Mickey was our server and she was spectacular. My drink was never empty (water or alcohol). This time I brought my longtime best friends who are also foodies and yet again the food was spectacular. The dry aged steak, perfection, lobster linguini (wonderful), spicy vodka penne thing (still better than Carbone s and this was confirmed by my guests as well). Drake’s is slowly becoming my favorite place to take out of town guests! Also, shout out to all of the other hardworking staff. It is something of note because it seems like all of the servers, managers and others work together to make sure all of the tables are well taken care of. I am just impressed. Keep it up guys!

Allison waited on us and she was very pleasant and has a great smile. She was also very attentive, even though she was pretty busy. We got our food really quickly. We ordered what we did the last time we were there and it was just as good. The French chicken and the lobster roll. It’s always so busy, we have to make our reservation about a week ahead of time to get in. We like going at 6:30 PM. It seems very popular, especially with the young people.
