After our taxi dropped us off at the wrong place, the host at the Market Place gave us great walking directions and a nice greeting when we arrived! We had allowed time for a cocktail before our dinner reservations and were pleased to see all sorts of fresh fruit and other ingredients for craft cocktails at the bar. After enjoying our cocktail, we were seated at a nice table and our server took care of us the rest of the night. He recommended a great bottle of wine (their wine list is VERY reasonably priced) and we enjoyed a blended version of their cheese and charcuterie boards. This appetizer is easy to serve for most **restaurants**, but this one was spectacular. The combinations of flavors - pickled ramps (I wanted an entire jar), several distinct cheese options, country ham, fried almonds, relish and jam were all so delish! Our entrees did not disappoint either. House made pappardelle with lamb ragout topped with arugula and shredded cheese was out of this world! I'm generally not a lamb fan, but this was so tender and flavorful with no gaminess. My husband had the tile fish over rice with a green curry sauce. The curry added a nice kick to the dish, but was not overwhelming. And then dessert was perfect! Brownie with brown sugar ice cream and a toasted marshmallow fluff was so balanced and luscious! It's been a long time since I was this impressed with a **restaurant**. I just wish they had a retail shop for pickled ramps and homemade pasta!!
