Restaurants near Norfolk Naval Station Golf Course

I like Saltine, having eaten there several times. The food, as expected, was well prepared and tasty. The service was most regrettable. My wife had to approach the hostess stand at one point to ‘find’ our server. After some time, our server did reappear. This horrible table service made a special occasion an ‘also ran’. More insulting was the automatic 20% large party tip that was included in the final bill.

Absolutely magnificent meal and service! The steak was perfectly cooked. A wonderful anniversary meal! Worth every penny!

Had dinner with my wife on a date night. We were both very pleased with our meals and our wine. Her pesto tortellini with shrimp was exactly what she was craving and my harissa tuna was amazing. The restaurant presents very well also with nice finishes and ambience. The service was good, not great, and there could have been better preparation in knowing what they were out of and presenting the daily specials without having to be asked about them. But they were nice enough, and we didn’t lack for anything so overall I was pleased with the service. The menu is a bit small, particularly on sides that they offer with entrees. They were out of one of their sides, which was disappointing, but it happens. Overall, I’d be happy to return here next time I’m in Norfolk, and would recommend it to anyone.
