Restaurants near Newport Aquari

I have been to Sotto numerous times so it was not like I was walking into anything new. The food and drinks were outstanding as always. But the service was not as it normally is. I am sure it was a one off experience but the service was very slow. We had a party of 4 which in my opinion is average. The in between time from appetizers to first setting to second setting etc was lengthy. I will return as I believe it was a one off.

This is such a dainty, beautifully decorated Italian gem located in the heart of Covington. I was pleasantly surprised by the romantic decor and crystal chandeliers in the upstairs main dining room and extremely satisfied with the meal I ordered (which was suggested by my waitress, Alyssa).

I’ve always had great food at all of Jeff Ruby’s restaurants. This was no exception. But Cameron our waiter set it over the top. He did an incredible job. I brought a friend from out of town. The first thing he said as we left was that the service was so good. And the excellent food followed that. Great evening at Jeff Ruby’s.

The sourdough, homemade ricotta and Limone pasta were delicious. Will be returning to dine again. The downstairs bar made the evening. Romantic lighting, quick service and a very informative bartender. Drinks were perfection
