- MMaryVIPDenver / Colorado •130 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe Blue Dog is a small space but the food is fantastic! Hubby and I shared the chicken dumplings (very flavorful with a delightful ponzu sauce) and the spinach artichoke dip (generous portion with rosemary crostini - staff were quick to bring us extra crostini when it was clear we were going to need a few more). Hubby ordered the bouillabaisse (he loved it - said the seafood was incredibly fresh and the base soup was incredibly good) and I had the chitarra alle vongole - a square cut spaghetti with clams in a light sauce (the chimaera was perfectly cooked al dente and the clams were sooooo good). We had a terrific meal and had a nice chat with a couple sitting next to us. This is a small restaurant so be prepared to be chummy with the neighboring tables. We will definitely be back - need to try the grilled octopus and the braised short ribs. Highly recommend!More infoThe Blue Dog Cookhouse And BarPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown West•4.5
