Amazing Saturday brunch - Allison was a wonderful server! We loved the mimosa flights and everyone really enjoyed their meals!

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Hudson and Essex in downtown Mansfield. The evening started with a perfect seat on their beautiful outdoor patio, which set the tone for what turned out to be a truly memorable night. I ordered the 8-ounce filet, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the crab cake, which was rich, delicate, and full of flavor. The Brussels sprouts were roasted just right with a touch of crispness, and the Parmesan truffle fries were absolutely addictive—crispy, savory, and aromatic. The drinks were just as impressive. Each cocktail was crafted with care and packed with flavor, complementing the meal beautifully. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, making it ideal for both a romantic night out or a special gathering. And to top it all off, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Hudson and Essex is a true standout in Mansfield. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit for great food, great drinks, and an unbeatable atmosphere.

This was an enjoyable experience. A couple of the dishes seemed rushed, one in particular was overcooked, but the sea bass was by far the star of the entire meal. Once you got past the musty smell and high humidity of the dining area, the ambiance did captivate you. Overall, a good experience, but one visit would be enough for us.

The Mohician Castle was pinned to my Google maps for some time. I was excited when I saw I could make this a lunch pit stop on a drive from Pittsburgh to Ann Arbor. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the kiwi and feta salad and the lobster bisque. My friend got the Ruben and the onion soup. The salad was bomb and the lobster bisque was delicious, but the onion soup actually looked better. I will absolutely make this a pit stop on the future! It is a destination to seek out.

Everyone loved what they ordered and I especially enjoyed the Garlic Eggplant.
