I will say they’re cocktails are okay, doesn’t taste as fresh as some other cocktails I’ve had but we enjoy it! More infoThe ShuckeryPrice: Moderate• Oyster Bar• Petaluma•4.5
- CCarolSan Francisco Bay Area •26 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis is a hidden gem, definitely worth reserving an indoor table way ahead of time, which we will do next time. Chef Jevon is a creative genius with down to earth yet elevated, fresh offerings. We can't wait to return in another season for whatever he invents. The outdoor seating is in a passageway, and we were sent an email to wear warm layers. Still, I wrapped one of the offered blankets around me like a skirt. We noticed at the end of our meal that the tiny heater at our feet wasn't working. Compared to the cozy indoor space, we could have felt like orphan cousins, but for the kind attentive service and the amazing food. We started with a Morrocan rosé and a tempranillo, stuffed Peppadews with pimento goat cheese, a sweet creamy bite with a spicy kick. A tasty gem lettuce salad with miso dressing and watermelon daikon. (They'd 86'd the roasted carrots.) An abundance of crisp, golden fried quail with a sambal honey sauce that had some added fruit, maybe tamarind. Steamed mussels with chorizo and a grilled country bread to soak up the delicious saffron broth. We finished with Meyer lemon curd with crumble and whip. Every bite was excellent. The menu is small, focused. Definitely a destination dinner.More infoStreet SocialPrice: Expensive• American• Petaluma•4.9

- RRobertVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •138 reviews5.0Dined on Aug 25, 2024Didn’t expect a hotel restaurant to be anything other than OK. Surprisingly, Tolay had great food, a good wine list, and the service was super. Despite looking under-staffed, our waiter couldn’t have been more responsive and warm (Adorable and easy on the eyes, too). Highly recommend the wagyu burger on brioche, and the roasted Brussels sprouts. Us locals are starting to find this place too!More infoTolay - Sheraton PetalumaPrice: Expensive• American• Petaluma•3.6
