Besides the fact that we had wonderful food courtesy of Neil Perry - from the sashimi albacore to the XO prawns, the prawn, pork and scallops sausages to the excellent rib-eye - we had the best service as well as great desserts. Excellent wine and cocktail recommendations as well!

Icebergs’ iconic status in Sydney dining is thoroughly deserved, not just because of its drop-dead views, but because it gets all the details right. The service is professional, but friendly; the room is beautiful, but still has a casual air; the food looks great and tastes even better, but doesn’t look like it’s been assembled with tweezers. If you don’t feel like a whole bottle of wine, stretch yourself for a glass of something from the “sommelier’s picks” and you won’t regret those few extra dollars one bit. As you take one last look at the breaking surf while standing to leave, all feels good in the world.

Song Bird last night was an extremely memorable occasion. It got off to a flying start when one of the guests said that the old bloke with the pony tail acts like he owns the place.. Needless to say they cracked up when I told them he did actually own it! The girls started with the best martinis they have ever had and then some wines the sommelier suggested. The beef tartare and kingfish were voted 10/10 as were the succulent prawn wontons, scallop and lobster spring rolls,pepper beef pancake we started with. Next was the absolutely best Peking duck ever followed by amazing coral trout and a sweet and sour pork you just have to have once in your life. Our host Oscar was so efficient and so friendly it just put the icing on the cake. Can't wait to return.

Agnolotti pumpkin pasta was absolutely delicious! We ordered two servings and so thankful that we did . Cotoletta Bolognese is another standout dish that I always order when I come to the Neptune Grotto. We particularly enjoyed the wonderful and attentive service provided by the team. Great selection of wine and what a great place for a dinner with friends. Highly recommend it to anyone!

The staff are so very welcoming and the pizza is the best in the area. We are repeat diners and love having this place nearby. Everyone leaves full and happy.
