- IIannSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined todayI'm not particularly the type of person to write reviews for restaurants however, this establishment has exceeded my expectations. I visited for my Mother's birthday on February 9, and our experience was impeccable. We arrived 15 minutes early to our reservation and were swiftly seated after being graciously greeted by the kind hostesses. The staff had prepared a gorgeous bouquet of flowers for my Mom and wrote a handwritten birthday card. Everyone from the entrance to the exit offered 100/10 hospitality. Our server Hannah, was the epitome of amazing service. She supplied the BEST food recommendations and truly made you feel like you're wanted in the restaurant. She was beyond caring and closely took note of my Mom's dietary allergies, omitting the fish sauce in the broccoli appetizer. I have never felt more compelled to write a Google review, but Hannah's service has inspired me to publicize my genuine gratitude. She left our party smiling from the table to the car ride back home. If you have the privilege of being served by Hannah, be sure to buckle in for an excellent meal. Please tip your service workers, they deserve the world and more! Of course, the food was just as amazing as the service and atmosphere. Every dish Hannah recommended was succulent, balanced, and seasoned to perfection. This restaurant will not disappoint you!More infoCampfirePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Carlsbad•4.8
- JJackVIPLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoHad an amazing experience at Jeune et Jolie! Our server, Victoria, was fantastic as she took the time to thoroughly explain each dish we had questions about on the menu. I ordered the Crudo, Porc, Pintade, and Pomme, and every dish was incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced, offering a little bit of everything... rich, bright, savory, and sweet. You can really tell that each plate is crafted to perfection. One of the things I loved most was the open kitchen at the center of the restaurant, allowing us to watch each dish come to life. The teamwork among the chefs was amazing to watch and to hear call-outs in French from the head added to the authentic experience. Between the outstanding food, exceptional service, and beautiful atmosphere, I’ll definitely be coming back!More infoJeune et JoliePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Carlsbad•4.9
- CCarolVIPSan Diego •23 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis is our second visit. After we came in for an unexpectedly great breakfast on a Friday morning we couldn’t wait to try Wildland for dinner. Their menus are wonderfully creative and delicious. Given how intriguing every menu item appeared we were very happy that the dinner service is family style so you get to taste a variety of dishes. Don’t expect to be offered the usual faire….instead of a Caesar salad enjoy the Panzanella salad…instead of a pork chop enjoy the Iberico Pork Secreto with polenta. Even the desserts are delightfully different…like pistachio tiramisu with orange blossom mascarpone. Be prepared to pay for the best, high quality ingredients prepared by a very talented staff—it’s worth it. From the crusty, in-house baked bread to the perfectly mixed espresso martini to cap off your meal, it’s worth it. We always take out of town visitors to Campfire and we have celebrated two wedding anniversaries at Jeune and Jolie but reservations at both restaurants have to be planned well in advance. So now, regardless of when the mood strikes to go out…be it breakfast, lunch or dinner…Wildland is a great option. Don’t be worried about the line out front for breakfast and lunch—it moves surprisingly quickly!More infoWildlandPrice: Moderate• Californian• Carlsbad•4.8

- BBonnieVIPOrange County •14 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 2, 2025Sunday, Feb-2, Family lunch for 5 of us: Food was fantastic, flavorful and served hot! The head server, Memo, was attentive and very personable. The Gnocchi were to die for; the Cioppino was loaded with seafood; and the Pappardelle con Fungie e Capesante was so spot-on with very large and exquisitely-braised scallops. But the creme de la creme was the short-rib Ravioli ("Cappellacci di Manzo"). I kept to the lunch menu and had Penne del Fattore which totally held its own with rich vodka creme sauce. WE WILL BE BACK!!!More infoVigilucci's Cucina ItalianaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Carlsbad•4.7
