A wonderful evening at a great restaurant. The lamb was great but Dave, the sommelier, is the star of the show — so knowledgeable and such fun.

The Chart House in Monterey offered exceptional food quality, attentive service, a pleasant ambiance, and overall value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

Il Vecchio is one of my favorites. The food is authentic Italian(the chef owner was trained in Rome); well prepared, reasonably priced and served hot. The service is attentive, but not overbearing. The acoustics are well engineered to provide an atmosphere of people enjoying themselves, but designed so that you can have a conversation with everyone at your table without overusing your voice.
